Loved that I found this little gem! Julia was so patient, and kind and really made me feel comfortable! She spent time with me and helped me find the right piece I was looking for. She placed stencils in multiple places on my arm till I was happy with the placement. She had such a light hand, so my pain level was maybe at a 2 out of 10! I love my two tiny tattoos so much! They are fine line tattoos and they are so perfect! Best tattoo I ever got. If you want quality work done you need to go to Tattoo 925. Kevin was my artist. This is my second piece with him. I am always hesitant to get new work done without a trusted artist, so when I moved back to California a few years ago I didn't get any work done for a while. But I made a friend at the gym that had incredible work done. The style was great and some of the work was several years old and still looked amazing. I asked for his artist and he introduced me to Kevin. I'm not artistic at all so I heavily rely on the artist to help take an idea and make it incredible. The final product exceeded anything I could've imagined. It's also worth noting that the other staff that I met there were friendly and seemed to be in pretty high demand, which has to be a good sign for the shop. The shop was also very clean and the staff take incredible care to make sure the work they do is safe and sanitary for us. read more

I was craving some more tattoos and since I live in Martinez I decided to try the shop, am I ever glad I did. I had the pleasure of being tattooed by a lovely woman named Justine. I got two tattoos and they came out so great that I recently went back and got two more, they are my favorite tattoos. Best tattoo shop. The shop told me they would call me to have me come in and get my Friday the 13th tattoos done since my name was on the waiting list. I got a call 2 days later asking when I would like to come in. No other tattoo shops that I know of did this. They made their customers wait in line outside. Reyna did a great time tattooing me. I made an appointment here back in March, for a leg piece that was suppose to take place in August with Sergio. I searched for a long time looking for a talented artist, and felt I had found one. I requested the day off from work since they don't do weekend appointments, had to come into the shop between the hours of noon to 7 (which was a challenge as well being that I work from 10-6:30 out of the area. But I said I'll find a way, booked my appointment gave a $100 deposit to Sergio. Meanwhile, I'm stacking to pay him for the large piece I wanted, I even made the appointment after vacation this summer because he suggested I not be in direct sun for a while as it heal. A week before the appointment I texted the number he gave me, to confirm a time, no response. A few days before I call the shop to confirm a time, a woman picked up the phone and said he couldn't come to the phone he was with a client but to come in at 11. The night before, literally 9pm, he texts me saying he has to cancel. He didn't mention what was the next step, a refund for my deposit, NOTHING. I had to ask him if he could refund me my deposit, he then said he could fit me in next time he had a cancelation. As if people don't have 9-5'a and can walk in when he's good and ready. I politely declined, I can't afford to lose out on another work day because of his unprofessionalism. I'm not saying he isn't a good artist, I'm saying the place isn't professional in my opinion and they couldn't care less about what arrangements you make to meet their days of operation, hours, etc. He refunded me my $100, that's what the one star goes to. read more

Kevin did my tattoo today and it turned out great!!!! The shop was clean and the overall atmosphere was awesome. Kevin was professional yet personable. I will be going back!!! Update: Went back to Tattoo 925 for a simple initial tattoo on my ring finger, Fern helped my husband and I and he was great too! That shop really cares about their clients and it shows! I've wanted a tattoo for quite some time now. When I finally made my decision, I was recommended by a family member to see Sergio. I was a bit nervous. Mostly about my tattoo. I had my Hebrew name and wanted that along with some flourishes. He nailed the sketch on his first drawing. When he started the work I thought for sure it would be painful. I'm new to the area and I spent most of my day today bouncing around between different tattoo shops checking them out. I asked for a price estimate for a tattoo that I knew should only cost around $40. This fool said he wanted $150 for it. I was looking for a place where I'll probably be spending close to $10,000 in the next couple of years and using this next tat as a test to see where I should invest my money and skin at. And this dip shit blew it just so he could try to rip me off for like what, an extra $90. The work in their books looked really solid too which is why I'm so disappointed they turned out to be shylocks. Fern did a cover up of a large Tattoo on my back. Other shops had turned me down because of the size and placement. The old tattoo is gone and there is a great colorful new one in it's place thanks to Fern. I have been to a few shops and I will never go to anyone but Fern in the future.
