I just got the most beautiful tattoo done today by Sam! My husband tragically passed away two and a half weeks ago, so this memorial tattoo is a HUGE deal. My cousin found Sam on Instagram and his work was so badass. So I called the shop and spoke with him. Honestly, SUPER nice guy! I got a quick turn around appt with him and sent him over my design. Fast forward to today... when I had completely changed my design and didn't tell him until I showed up for my appt. Sam was just as nice and personable in person, my changes were no big deal at all. I sat on their comfy couch and watched tv while he made my stencil, then we got to it. We passed the time bullshitting about anything and everything, time literally flew by and then bam- my tattoo was done! I have quite a bit of tattoos, and this was my least painful! Sam really did an excellent job handling my husband's memorial tattoo. His line work is impeccable, which is exactly what drew me to him initially. It came out exactly how I wanted. Hands down, a fantastic and professional experience from the initial phone call to walking out after my son's first tattoo. I had been feeling frustrated after being flaked on for several consults, so I gave up on trying to go through someone I knew or a recommendation. I had a tattoo that covered my entire arm (not exactly a sleeve but still took up a lot of space) done by Sam and I couldn't be happier. It actually makes me upset that I didn't find him sooner. I wanted a light line tattoo that was a mix of flowers and skulls and his drawing of it was perfect. I also wanted a skull butterfly and when the first drawing he showed me wasn't what I had in mind he went and drew out exactly what I was thinking of. On top of being incredibly talented he is also just a very nice guy. The owner of the shop was in working on another client and he was also just great to talk to and made the hours that I was there very enjoyable. Just got my first of many pieces by Sam! I absolutely am in love with his work. I was really nervous about getting a new tattoo since the last time I had gotten one (from another artist) but it was extremely painful. Sam was able to calm my nerves and we worked out what placement would be best for this piece. Day of the tattoo appointment Sam made sure the work fit perfectly with my other previous work. I've gotten two tattoos and a cover up by Sam who has absolutely killed it. I got one of his original designs of art the clown and asked for a Medusa tattoo that exceeded my expectations. The female piercer (unfortunately I forgot her name) was great - super friendly, very professional and detail-oriented. They have an artist that has a specialty for anything you want to get done. Ricky Lee did my first tattoo and it's my favorite piece out of all of my tattoos. He spent a lot of time laying out and designing the tattoo before I got it done to make sure it had everything I wanted. Called today in a panic, thought my nose piercing was infected. Unfortunately, the surrounding shops weren't available and this was time sensitive since I found out I'm expecting. I explained my situation and the guy I spoke too was very understanding, he told me to go in. When I got there, they were all soooo nice! The guy that removed my nose ring was quick and I felt no pain. Fortunately, he confirmed it was not infected, only growing a keloid. I've been here twice. Once for my tragus piercing and once for a red ink tattoo. My tragus piercing turned out wonderful but my tattoo, not so much. I came here on my birthday with hopes of getting a red ink butterfly tattoo on the back of my ankle. Now that it's healed, I see many inconsistencies. The bottom of my butterfly wings are not symmetrical, the lines within the wings to not align, one is even missing. Lines do not connect and the body of the butterfly was too deep, it is now scarred. Worst shop I've ever been to! I walked into the shop and was yelled at, by a worker because he thought I was someone he remembered. I did not remember this guy! Calling names and saying awful things about my character. Discriminating against me for having autism! His Co-workers did nothing to stop him and allowed him to yell at me until I cried! They asked me for my ID and publicly humiliated me in for of everyone in the shop! They could have handled it better, I am still a human! Deserved to be treated with kindness. Even if one of their workers found a reason not to like me. They choose to humiliate me and my character in front of everyone. Yes, I was turned away with no real reason, except one of the workers didn't like that I didn't remember him. He assumed I had a disability, and was making fun of me with a smile on his face! Even worse, I let them know I was put in the hospital for a concussion, and he stated I am an autistic person with a concussion! This place is legit! My first experience was with Ricky (the owner) who did my belly button piercing a few months ago and I've been meaning to write a review since. He was so accommodating on the phone and was able to squeeze me in that same day. He did a great job with my piercing and didn't try and sell me on the jewelry, but instead recommenced I go elsewhere for other better options. I love when businesses don't try to sell you everything in the shop. I respect that about Ricky. He's obviously not hurting for business. My second experience was with B. My girlfriend and I went in there for tattoos and B did an amazing job. He took his time and was super patient with us b/c we weren't really sure about the design and had to discuss it at nauseam (lol). Hey, any ink on the body is pretty permanent so ya gotta love it, right? I went again yesterday for a touch-up and again, B was so great! I recommend B for anyone looking to get a tattoo done here.
