Trino did my piercings. He did a decent job, I'm happy with them. But I wouldn't go back. From the beginning he was pretty rude to me and my friend. I told him that I wanted two piercings, and was on the fence between which to get. He was condescending about the fact that I wasn't sure and it made us uncomfortable. When marking the site for placement, I asked to reposition it and when I wanted to move it again he seemed frustrated. I've gotten multiple piercings in the past. I appreciate feedback on how my jewelry may look once it's healed. I love my jewelry and it's my body... I didn't think that it was too much to be thoughtful about getting my piercings. Maybe I have high expectations that my piercer is kind and artistic. And maybe it was a busy day.... But I got neither of those things here. read more

Walked in today wanting to get my ears pierced and decided on piercing my forward helix. Brook was WONDERFUL! She was very nice and patient with me as we decided placement. She explained everything she was was going to do; prior to doing it. I talked with her about getting a total of 6 piercings and she suggested waiting until the first 4 (in the helix) were healed and getting the other two later. That's how I knew she was the real deal!! Most would prefer to make money but her priority was my health and safety! Over the weekend I decided to get my very first tattoo. I wasn't sure what to get, but when it came down to get it done. I already picked out what I wanted. I got my tattoo done by Marc Jackson, now this guy rocks!! When you first walk into the shop it's pretty laid back and feels like home. Everyone watching movies, getting ink, or either eating haha. I was ready to get this party started, so here came the man, Mr. Jackson. He sorta looked like an friend I knew, but lets get down to business, shall we? He shown me my drawing, I was like damn that is pretty wicked, so once he called me up I knew it was serious business time. The whole crew in the store is very friendly and laugh at the funniest stuff, I couldn't help but laughing too. My group of 4 had a great experience with Trino getting pierced. It's been about a week since we got pierced and none of us have any bruising or swelling which I expected to be par for the course because we are all fair skinned white people. I reached out on IG to schedule because it was outside of business hours and I got a response with my appointment setup during business hours the following day. My friend recommended me to this place when I told her that I wanted to get helix piercings done with a needle. I had both my ears freshly pierced for about two weeks now and there have been zero problems. There was no irritation other than when I slept on the piercing directly by accident (whoops), but after washing it with the antibacterial soap and leaving it alone for a couple hours to heal, any redness or swelling went away. The place itself was easy to find, but the parking lot was very small and most spots are reserved for the stores around it. Walk-ins are common so I waited for only 20 minutes, but the employees were all extremely helpful and made the process quick and easy. I paid about $55 total for a helix piercing on both ears ($30 for one ear, or $50 for both) and antibacterial soap. The experience was short and painless -- needle is way better than a piercing gun in a lot of ways. For me, the soreness of the piercings went away after less than a week; in contrast to my previous piercings that were done with a gun. The instruments were sterile and packaged in their own sealed bags, which reassured me that they were clean. The man (didn't get his name) who helped me was telling me where the piercing would be best placed to have the piercings even on both sides, then he marked and made sure I was okay with these spots before piercing. He was professional and knew what he was doing, answered all my questions, and explained how to properly care for my new piercings until they healed. read more

At first it was kinda intimidating walking in to this shop because the outside was dark but when I walked in, I was greatly greeted right away. I came in for a cartilage piercing and for the most part the service was fast and simple. The man set up the station quick and everything was sterile. From the get-go everybody has been so nice and helpful! These people know customer service! I called before I arrived to ask about about my lip piercing that I had done the day before at a Tattoo and Body Art Expo out in Pomona, but today my lip kept getting bigger and bigger and the stud they put in was way too short to be a lip stud (for anyone) let alone give me room for the swelling. It was getting so bad that the tiny gem and the backing were cutting into my skin. (lesson learned, make sure you go to a REAL professional at any expo) Anyways, after consulting on the phone, Mikey informs me that he'll fix the other person's mistake and just charge me for jewelry. (WHAT A SWEETIE, RIGHT?) Anyways, I arrive at the shop and Mikey comes up and was SUPER patient, SUPER informative and really gave me truthful answers and his own professional opinion without thinking about how much he was going to get. I wasn't hassled about anything and everything was a smooth transition. He's SUPER clean, SUPER nice and was SUPER professional. He explained to me that he'd have to "stretch" my piercing to a 16 gauge (mine was pierced with a 20) and it didn't even hurt that much and he was nice about it - telling me to breathe when he saw me feel a little pain. Two months ago, I went to Trino to get the middle of my lip pierced again and enjoyed his personality and professionalism so much that I went to him again today to get another piercing set done! He remembered how particular I tend to be about the jewelry I put in my face and was open and honest about what he had available and how it might look. I decided I wanted to get my angel bites redone and he originally told me all about how the jewelry he had might look like antennas and that I might not like the look, however, for some reason, I was just bent on getting it done. Despite the fact that I don't have a predominant lip or tissue, the bar he used only slightly sticks out and will be perfect if it swells as much as it did the first time I got it done. I don't know if I've built a pain tolerance or if it's how gentle he is, but it barely hurt getting both sides done this time just like it barely hurt getting my lip redone. His prices are also the most reasonable I've come across in all of the IE. I do plan to go back in 8 weeks when it heals and get some cuter jewelry, but I highly recommend him! read more
