I have been going to this tattoo shop for piercings for years and today I was denied service because of my service dog. I feel as though this is completely unprofessional and it is discrimination. My dog and I have been in there a few different times over the years and not once have we ever had a problem. All I did today was walk in the door and one of the employees walked up to me and told me my service dog was not allowed and when I let him know that he could not legally deny my service dog he completely denied me service. My dog and I were not being disruptive in any way and the employee didn't even know what I had come in for before these events took place. Great place for piercings. Guy named Jim did mine and my daughters. I had called ahead to make sure I had the documentation I needed to have my daughter pierced since she is a minor. They explained it all easily and I had no issue with getting it done. I'm glad they follow the rules on that! I had my daith pierced to see if it will help with migraines. My daughter had her second lobe piercing done. He took his time to explain the whole process and after care. The place is very clean and his area is very organized. Everything is labeled, and tidy. He changed his gloves multiple times during the process which was really nice to see such attention to detail. He took his time with symmetry on my daughters piercings. Jim was highly recommended to me on several local community groups on Facebook. Unfortunately, my experience with the piercings I got from him has not been good. I had to retire 3/5 piercings - my forward helix for being pierced incorrectly, and both helixes due to angle issues. Now that I have been educated, I know now that the following should have been red flags: 1. No piercer should give more than four piercings in one sitting - I had five done 2. Externally threaded, surgical steel jewelry is crappy and is not good for new or healed piercings 3. No anatomy assessment (ie - my helix root is not pronounced enough to support a forward helix therefore should not have been pierced; the way my glasses sit should have been assessed in order to choose the correct spot for my helix/flat piercing, but my glasses would always touch the piercing which contributed to the angle issue) 4. Outdated aftercare instructions. The APP advises against the use of antibacterial soap, Q-tips, and over-cleaning. I was advised by the shop to wash with Dial gold soap twice daily and to clean the piercings with saline on a Q-tip every three hours. This experience caused me to have to consult with other piercing shops for advice and to purchase better quality materials since I had a hard time trusting this shop or wanting to return to them after all that happened. The healing process was a pain, and all for nothing in regards to three of my now retired piercings. Not educating myself on what to ask or expect of a piercer cost a lot of extra money, time and heartbreak (I loved my forward helix) which could have been avoided had I known better, or gone to a different shop in the first place. I just got three new piercings from a very reputable APP shop to replace the ones I retired, and there is a HUGE, noticeable difference already in how these look and feel so far in their healing. read more

Went here a few years back and the owner struggles with his anger management. I had previously been tattooed her and didnt have any issues. I put $20 down and was told my artist would arrange my appointment over text. I received several images of a totally different tattoo from my "artist" Brandon that were obviously put together in an app. After complaining to Brandon that his design wasn't what I asked for he responded that he had "stayed up late the night before" in order to include what I asked for. The "sketch" being the first image on google if you search the idea of my design, with his watermark thrown behind it in photoshop. Not only is this grossly deceitful, but copyright infringement on the original piece. I took to google to share my experience so no one else would waste time and money and received a response from the owner DOXXING my private information along with some name calling. I was told I could "come get my $20 back in the store" but after seeing they were so flippant about other laws I chose to not take the chance of being assaulted as well. They only have such a high rating because of their bullying tactics if you leave any type of negative response. You can clearly see in the lower reviews on Google this shop takes criticism on a personal level and the owner is a raging maniac who should not be managing a business. read more

What a great experience at Tattoo Shop! I have several things I look at before deciding where to let someone put something as appearance-altering as a tattoo on me. Here is the breakdown: 1. Cleanliness - Tattoo shop is SUPER clean. They use all-new, pre-packaged/sterile needle heads on all of their machines. The tattoo guns themselves are autoclaved. Everything from the floors to the bathroom and every tattoo station is meticulously kept. Any time something that wasn't sterilized was touched during the tattooing, the gloves were changed. I work in the health care industry, and I'm pleased to say that these guys keep up with my clinic's level of cleanliness. 2. Staff - I worked with Larry. He is a blast. Really down-to-earth and great sense of humor. He and I collaborated on my tattoo design. He was great to work with and really puts the customer's experience as his highest priority - he wants you to be totally happy with the tattoo you get. You can tell that he is very detail-oriented and wants to do the job right the first time. The rest of the guys who work there all seem very personable and easy to work with as well. 3. Previous results - these guys have done some amazing things with ink and skin. I was focused on tattoos, and the flash in each of the artists' books was great. I also saw several reviews on Facebook and Google with plenty of pictures. My tattoo turned out awesome, so I can now add my piece to their great catalog of success. I observed Jim doing several different body piercings during my tattoo (about 3.5 hours), and he seemed great. All of his customers were very pleased as well. 4. Professionalism - these guys are very professional. They have a very strict no intoxication rule - they want you to be in the right state of mind when making these appearance-altering decisions. They have you sign a detailed consent form and if you're a minor, you will need a parent/guardian who can produce a valid form of identification as such (birth certificate, etc.). They are courteous to all customers. They also do a great job of post-procedure (piercing, tattoo) education - I had all of my healing/after-care questions answered and was given a handout with a small amount of Aquaphor to get me started. They also do free touch-ups within a certain period of time, provided that you take proper care of your tattoo. Overall, I can say with confidence that I would recommend this shop to anyone. If I wasn't moving out of state soon, I would definitely get any further pieces done here...heck, I might come back anyways, it was THAT good. read more

I would not come to this place again. If your piercer is not talking about your anatomy about your piercing and wether it is a good spot for your body then you are wasting your money. I had done my industrial and my friend did their nipple. The piercer was not friendly, he did not put the right size bar or looked to see if my ear was ok for that type of piercing. And he did not actually use a clamp for the nipple piercing and pierced through the actual nipple, not behind it. It wasn't until I met several additional other piercers that they told me the same information. My ear got infected, even after taking the most care and I was told that my ear did not have the proper anatomy for a piercing like that. Overall, a really bad experience and a waste of money! Make sure to do your research before getting pierced by any person. read more

Got a small tattoo on the side of my head from Brandon.
