The studio is a fun vibe, very clean, & professional interactions. My friend came into town and we wanted matching tattoos. My friend found Bam via instagram & messaged him. He was very friendly, responded in a timely manner, & engaging to make us feel confident in going. Once arriving he was just as nice in person!! He was very professional to ensure pricing was understood as well as filling out paperwork. He didn't rush either of us to choosing our placement and has no issue moving the placement to see each option. He gave advice when asked and wasn't pushy to make us take it. After my first piercing got infected, I figured it was just me, not doing what I was supposed to do to keep it clean. So I went back for another. When the second one got infected I was a little leery as to why this was happening, when I've never had a piercing get infected before. But alas, I went back for a 3rd one! Stupid me. That's when I realized it wasn't me, it was the studio. My daughter has also gotten pierced here and hers also got infected. When I talked to them about the continuous infections (and holes closing up) the owner told me "yeah you never know. Sucks that happened a few times. How about we try another one and this time actually take care of it?". Like seriously what the hell kind of response is that?! I have no experience with their tattoos, but as for somewhere to get pierced? RUN AWAY. read more

They were nice and had many customers , however they had outrageous prices for piercings. Just to get lobes done, it was $150. I recently got them done for just $50 somewhere else. He also charged my friend 2 separate prices for one simple nose stud. (One price for the stud and one for the flat back that connects to the stud.) read more

Female empowerment is real here! I came to Houston for a family trip and this place was on my itinerary. I'm bored with all this coronavirus stuff so I said why not get a piercing? I recruited my mom to get one with me. I decided on a conch piercing. It was a relatively quiet night in there. The front desk girl was really sweet and talked to us about our options until our piercer was ready for us. The piercer introduced herself soon after and I was the first to go. She made me feel comfortable while talking about the different sizes I could choose from. She told me to inhale and exhale deeply and before I knew it I had a new piercing with minimum pain. She provided excellent aftercare tips as well. Great place for piercings! read more

This is only specific to one piercer, Missie. I have battled with myself on even posting this because I hate leaving bad reviews but it needs to be done. Firstly, I went and had my Rook, Daith and Septum pierced. The daith is the only one of those 3 that I didn't have a problem with. The Rook had too short of a bar put in and was causing it to migrate and basically the ball was IN my actual tissue, was also told that the rook was done too shallow/incorrectly. My septum ring was too tight around my nose and a ball ended up coming off, thankfully I had already purchased extra jewelry for my septum and I swapped it out myself and it hasn't been an issue since. My dumb self decided to go back and have her swap out my rook for a different piece since it was being eaten by my ear. Unfortunately it's probably too late to completely save the piercing since it was already migrating, but I'm trying to save it. I was there for a tattoo(much better experience with the tattoo artist, that will be a separate review) but knew these needed attention. While she swapped out my rook and my daith for different jewelry I said what the hell, lets do a double forward helix and one regular helix..... I asked since we did the helix if I could use one of my Conch pieces for the helix, she said yep, pulled it out and put it right in my freshly pierced helix (fyi, the post was entirely too short for the swelling that would happen). The 2 forward helix piercings posts were also too short and were more for healed piercings. I could not get back there to clean it even after taking ibuprofen and the swelling had gone down, same for the helix. The gems were super small so the swelling decided to start eating my 2 forward helix. Once again, I had jewelry to swap out the regular helix so I did that myself just to try to make it through the night, it didn't work since my forwards were so angry. Ended up going to the shop Monday and Rae was there to help save the day, but not without me doing of cussing and fighting the air in pain. It was horrible and traumatic trying to get those 2 forwards out to get longer posts in. Honestly, I don't even remember how long it took them to get the first one out but it was horrendous. The second one was even worse, they tried everything besides just having to pull the gem end through the back. Pliers, snippers, you name it. I finally just asked if I could try and ended up just RIPPING this piece of jewelry through my own ear, 4mm back through the front because the gem end was so tightly bent in there. After I ripped it out myself I handed it to them and they all had tried to get this damn thing apart... I'm not even sure how long it took them to get it apart, but it was pretty mangled afterward. Rae took my piece of helix jewelry out and just swapped it for a longer post with a flat back and ball. So 5 out of 6 piercings have been an issue due to short posts/incorrect jewelry. Thankfully since I had changed my septum to a retainer it hasn't been an issue at all. Also, im pretty sure the 1.5 to 2 inch long nails that Missie has, didn't make any of my piercing experiences any easier either. read more

My boyfriend got a coverup of his exes name. I hated seeing her name on his neck. Ugh. Anyway Jason did his tattoo and he did a phenomenal job. His work was so amazing that I myself went back and got a tattoo on my foot and my oldest son liked his work so much that he was visiting from Arizona and he too got a tattoo from Jason, the same day I got my foot done. He is truly talented and a phenomenal tattoo artist. I plan on coming back and having Jason add to my collection. I can only tell of my great experience with Jason but ideally everyone in the shop is so awesome and friendly and not to mention that the shop is extremely clean. I would give more stars if I could. I get absolutely terrible service every single time I come to this establishment. I once walked in for a simple jewelry change because one of the balls fell off my septum barbell, and ended up waiting forty minutes after being told there was one person in line in front of me. I saw them take in multiple clients without helping me, all while the employees repeatedly looked at me after I'd been helped at the front desk. I also got a rook piercing here that has terrible placement and still hasn't healed after nearly a year (none of my other piercings took that long). They also charged me $90 for a finger tattoo that i am constantly told looks like a stick and poke. For piercings i like peaches at mainline, right down the street. read more

If you're going to abide by the law, at the very least know what the law actually is. According to 25 Texas Administrative Code, $229.406(d): "The adult is present at the studio during the piercing and signs statements swearing they are the parent, managing conservator or guardian; the adult has the authority to consent to the procedure; the adult has provided valid government issued identification of the minor and of themselves to the studio; and the adult will remain at the studio while the procedure is performed. In this case, the adult must also present identification and evidence to the studio they are the parent, managing conservator or guardian." Nowhere is it stated that only a Birth Certificate is acceptable, and they clearly don't know that a passport satisfies those requirements as both a birth certificate and photo ID are needed in order to obtain one, rendering a passport more reliable than a BC. This studio really needs to work on their customer service and brush up on TX law. read more

When you call a place prior to going, explaining thoroughly what you need done; They give you a price. You go, you sit there and wait 30 minutes, only to be told the price went up to double what was quoted. All I needed was 4 dermals changed. I had the jewelry. They told me $20 on the phone and then $40 in person. That's absolutely OUTRAGEOUS for simply switching them. Even funnier thing, I went to Hold Fast Tattoo on NASA, they took me for the 20. I tipped an extra 10. So yeahhh. :-). Thanks for wasting my time. In response to the reply from owner: it wasn't busy. Your piercer was at Kroger's. They came back and continued to ignore me another 10/15 minutes, as if I didn't even matter. As far as set up and what not goes, you're backpedaling to my initial review. Again, Hold Fast was actually delighted to take me and honor YOUR quote. Your clients are more of a bother to you, than a blessing. You should take a note. read more

I was happy they were able to accommodate my party of 3 for piercings and the staff was kind enough. They didn't offer a large variety in piercing jewelry options and one of my two piercings was crooked, the other got infected despite my proper care. I went to another shop and was told they should have used proper grade jewelry, but I'm no professional so I'm not sure of this ...all in all, I would not recommend this shop for piercings. read more

Took my 7yr old to get earlobes pierced. Our piercer took his time and was slow paced, explaining everything before and did an amazing job of keeping her calm. Despite the few tears that were shed, he made a painful process for a kid an easy and happy memory for her. He was extremely informative on aftercare. We'll be back when my next child wants earrings. The only reason I gave four stars because it was $128 for basic stud earrings and uncomplicated earlobe piercing. $59- piercing, $28/stud jewelry (the less expensive option), taxes, and $10 tip. read more

Leaving a two star rating because although Olivia was wonderful, I learned during my jewelry change out that the titanium they use and sell as being ASTM-rated and implant-grade is actually sourced from Painful Pleasures, which comes from China. Jewelry manufactured in China does not follow ASTM guidelines. The shop owner offered a refund, then rescinded their offer stating they misunderstood my complaint. If you do not care about ensuring your jewelry is ASTM grade and safe for implantation and/or aren't sensitive to certain materials, I do recommend you see this shop, but if you do take these things into consideration then you may want to look elsewhere, or bring your own jewelry. read more

Went in and wanted to replace my piercing to a hoop. One of the workers went to take out my old piercing I had in and went to put in the hoop, she was very rough and said she accidentally put in a bigger hoop and had to put in a different one while my nose was bleeding. When it was finished the price very pricy just for a hoop change and piercing. After a month my nose has been very infected since then and had to get it replaced with a cheaper price. read more

Weeks later and no issues, unlike a mall piercing place that gave my daughter an infection. This studio is cleaner than the average tattoo studio and very professional. People may not think of taking children to a tattoo place for piercings, but there were several teenage girls there Outside waiting to do the same thing.
