He provides top notch care and really listens to any concerns one might have. With that said I usually interact with the shot room staff more than provider Romero. They seem to have a revolving door when it comes to staff other than the provides. The shot room and front desk staff continually changes. I've given up trying to get to know anyone. It's not super important but makes me wonder what goes on behind the scenes. I can say I am satisfied with my therapy and it's made a huge difference in my life. As long as I get to keep seeing provider Romero, I will continue to come back.

They don't see patients over 65 I guess, but they could not have told me that months ago when the appointment was made or the various times that they called me to verify my appointment or even when I arrived and paid a co-pay and sit with a nurse to get my vitals. WTH...now I am going to have to find another Allergy doctor and probably wait months to get in again. That is one of the most unprofessional things I have ever experienced with a doctors office. They had plenty of time to let me know that I was not qualified for their clinic, but they did not until I was there for the appointment. I do not recommend this doctor because of the unprofessionalism of the office staff towards the patients and especially senior patients.

Dr. Abernathy Carver has been really great! I went in for a new patient appointment and was there for about an hour and a half doing tests, so I hung out with the ladies for a while. They were very attentive, comforting, and helpful. I had to do a variety of breathing and skin tests, none of which are particularly pleasant, but the staff made it more bearable. One of the techs is a bit skittish, but I think she is just quiet/shy, and I actually spent quite a lot of time one-on-one with the doctor herself. I would recommend their office to anyone struggling with allergies, especially if you have United Healthcare insurance.

But over the past six years there has been a steady downward spiral in quality of care, quality of service, and quality of the lobby environment. IF you can get the computer system to work, scheduling is...okay. Not simple, not hard, but also not always reliable. And calling to make an appt is worse. No one answers the phone anymore. Even the receptionists are apologetic when they call you back because they know how crappy it is to play phone tag. They know it's awful, but whether it's corporate or local ownership, whoever makes the decisions is deeply out of touch with what actual patients need. And don't get me started on how often they "can't find your serum" on shots day or how long you have to wait some days until you remind them you still exist. Or how loooong they drag out the build-up process if it's been awhile since you were in last (feels like a cheap cash grab more than for patient comfort). And the lobby? It's DISGUSTING. The cheap, fake leather is splitting to shreds on most chairs. The walls are gross and need fresh paint. During the pandemic, they were like cleanliness mask nazis, but since coming out of it, it's like nobody there cares about upkeep and maintaining a comfortable, clean environment for patients. Major whiplash. I'm really glad my daughter's serum is done and she's finished year six after two years on her max maintenance dose. Dr Gerencer was amazingly helpful. My inspire device implant went well. The Drug Induced sleep…read moreendoscopy included a correction of a deviated septum and trim of my turbinates. It all went off without a hitch. When my sleep Dr quit taking my insurance, he allowed me to have my inspire device visits at his office until another sleep specialist opened up. In between visits, he would regularly vacuum out my congested sinuses. So grateful for his care.

During the procedure he arbitrarily removed a non-infected critical sinus structure. This caused severe breathing problems for me. When I asked why he removed those structures he said "just to make it easier for him to do the procedure. Making something easier for him caused me to have lifelong severe breathing problems. Now I cannot breathe through my nose and Gerencer has refused to repair the damaged he caused. My life is in total ruins because of Dr Gerencer. He never even mentioned that part of my sinus in consultation. Now I am totally crippled and cannot sleep because I cannot breathe through my nose. How a doctor can cripple a patient without repairing the damage he caused is outrageous. Do not use this doctor!

My daughter had sinus problems her entire life. Always congested, bad breath, just not fun. They started out with basic sinus treatments, allergy treatments, etc. Ultimately they suggested a simple in office procedure. I asked the staff about the complaint here that suggested that they recommend surgeries to make money, etc. They said that, in actual fact, they perform a lower percentage of surgeries to patients seen than the average ENT office nationwide. They were extremely accommodating of my needle phobic daughter. They were able to give her a medication to help relax her and she went through the procedure with no problem whatsoever. They were so kind and loving and Dr. Knight even asked her what kind of music she'd like to listen to during the procedure. By the next day my daughter was already amazed at the difference it made for her. She had that procedure over a year ago and she breathes better than she ever has in her life. No more congestion, no more bad breath. She still has to take her allergy medication, but after the procedure...it actually helps!

On average the wait to get to talk to somebody for making an appointment is 6 people, so minimum…read morehalf hour wait... No matter when you call. Sometimes you can leave your phone number for a callback. I have never been called back. No email, no chat option. deliberately all communication goes through the phone. Stubborn, old fashioned, arrogant and negligent towards people who need sinus care. You can do better than this.
