I cruised pass at 4:45 and encountered two gentlemen sitting in chairs ready and waiting for me. After checking out my car, Henry at Floyd and Diann's did what Mavis Discount Tires would not and that was offer me a reasonable and affordable solution. Mavis would rather gauge me to the tune of 700.00 and also open a line of credit to knock 50.00 off. Instead I got two tires, one new, one used and a back one that was still in good condition rotated for 160.00. The only downside was they are a cash only business and I had to scramble to find an atm. But the service was friendly, fast and there were chairs on the curb to sit in while you wait.

I ended up taking it to the Wilkie Lexus off of Lancaster ave and they charged me 98 dollars so basically half off. I also called around and checked a few other quotes and Mavis Tires wanted $59 dollars to mount and balance all four and Meineke wanted $98. So they were more than double the 3 other quotes which is ridiculous. If its not worth their time then they should just say look we do not have time but to just overshoot the price is being a RIP off. Wilkie was the only one that could do it ASAP so I went with them.

I was staying in Philly at a hotel and got a flat on my Expedition just as I arrived. I had AAA…read morecome to the hotel and change the tire & put on the spare. Looked up tire repair places nearby and found A+A. Drove there the next morning and they immediately got to work. Since my tires are pretty new & expensive I asked if they could take the tire off the rim & patch the inside. If you don't know this is a much better & safer repair than a plug. They removed the spare, patched the tire, tested it in water & put it back on the truck. Now the best part. They then took the spare & installed it back under the rear of the truck which is not an easy task. Just excellent work and all of this in about 20 minutes. def worth a big tip which they appreciated.
