The French Onion Soup was perfect and the Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon was delicious. I will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful bar for drinks. I've been here a couple times and have sat both inside (darker, moodier,…read moremore intimate) and outside (livelier, great when the weather is nice, more relaxed). Very unique cocktails! My first visit, I tried the ruby slipper, braulio sour, and the mango lassi. The mango lassi is incredible! It is my favorite drink at Argos! The ruby slipper and braulio sour were also quite tasty but I preferred the ruby slipper a tad more. My second visit, I tried the grapefruit soda (not artificial tasting at all), the Shark Juice (tasted a bit too much like cologne, wasn't a fan), and the Gigi (couldn't taste the hojicha, liked the concept more than the execution). I would get the Gigi again, but would pass on the Shark Juice. Sitting inside, I enjoyed the quieter and calmer atmosphere as well as the soft lighting. The interior decor is very cosy and slightly eclectic. I came with a friend on a weekday evening and it was pretty empty which was nice. The outdoor patio space is very nice- I like the lanterns on the walls and the whole space is quite charming. I left with a few mosquito bites though. Overall, I would recommend Argos Inn!

We arrived at our scheduled time and were immediately seated at a table with the full view of the lake. However the table was circular and its positioning pinned one person in the "corner" which wouldn't be a big deal had we not been at a buffet style dinner. There was nice background music and the dining area was calm and enjoyable. The layout of the buffet was very minimal and cramped. One long table and another perpendicular to that forming a tight L shape. Soups and salad were on another small table and the desserts on yet another, all in the main corridor of the restaurant. Additionally the dishes were not labeled and what I thought was mushrooms turned out to be Brussel sprouts. Prime rib was not on the menu but it is offered at other times. The pies were not cut and their positioning on risers made getting a slice very difficult. The food was very good and no one left hungry but the cost exceeded the value of the experience. Everything about this place is on-theme, right down to the items on the menu. While the food is definitely bar fare, don't underestimate it; every single one of their offerings is crafted to perfection! My favorites include the Sauer Loser hotdog (mouth-watering combo of sauerkraut and mustard on all beef franks) and the Flamin' Hot Smothered Cheetos (an elevated take on the spicy snack)! As for drinks, they have a fun array of game-themed cocktails and mocktails. Yes, you heard right, mocktails! And they are all incredible. My favorite is the Wowza Bowzer mocktail, which has a little bit of a kick with habanero bitters. The Waka-Waka-Waka cocktail (mule) features a Pac-Man shaped lemon slice eating a cherry, which is a fun touch! But, as we know, we come for the food and stay for the games, so what's available? Well, they have over 30 vintage games ranging from arcade classics like PacMan and Mortal Combat to more interactive favorites like DDR, hoops, and racing games (check out their website for a full listing). Plus, a couple pool tables and a few chill spots in the 2-story location (which includes a few quiet nooks with seating between the floors). While this space is definitely kid-friendly, it is only open to 21+ after 9pm, which provides a great experience for families and night crawlers alike!

As luck would have it, it was Binghamton Restaurant Week and we attempted a walk in - first available was three+ hours later - but the hostess mentioned we could get the RW menu at the bar and two seats were calling. Lots of choices on the menu but friend and I ended up having the same meal! Cup of Cauliflower, potato and leek soup to start was yummy - very comforting, not too thick, good flavor - I could have stopped here! But fortunately did not! Main was spectacular! Salmon with everything bagel spices served over pearl couscous in a risotto style was inspired (honestly, I will try this at home)! I hope this is a menu regular because I will crave this for many more meals! Add a black Manhattan and this meal is a treat! (Took the dessert course to go - blueberry cronuts were better than chocolate but both likely suffered a wee bit from loss of ambiance and slight steaming that occurred on drive - good for sure but did not compare to the rest of the meal). Shout out to Tommy F for exceptional service - attentive but not intrusive. Ambiance is lovely (the lighting dimmed as we sat - hysterical) but we also scored the most comfortable seats in the house (I hate a high top stool with no back and no padding on the seat - those stools look nice but should go away). Also love the hook under the bar.

I think it was Lauren, she was nice enough but did not go above and beyond for her customers. She did not want to move us to a more comfortable table, despite our requesting multiple times and the place was literally empty. Finally she was able to make it happen but it was already unpleasant. She was good with bringing us hot waters with lemon as requested, but there was zero proactiveness to refill the hot water or any of the iced water. It was like us going out and trying to please the waitstaff. She did make a good suggestion for the lavender gimlet cocktail. Overall disappointing.

I personally wasn't a fan of the fried polenta, but also did not try it with the sauce. Both nights I ordered the "burger of the month" which was a pesto burger. I added bacon and asked for a Caesar salad instead of fries. We ordered two of the chicken bites so the group could try both sauces, but since I'm not a fan of spicy, I only tried the honey truffle one and loved it.
