Visited while school was out, so admittedly not a busy time. Waiter was attentive, friendly, and not push, providing great service. Great selection of drinks, including some frozen margarita and cocktail options. Good selection of whiskeys, with some hard to find bourbons. Decent selection of beers though it tended to the IPA side. Nice indoor and outdoor seating options with lots of TV tuned to various sports. Relatively quiet environment. Chicken fingers and pinion rings were very good, but just slightly over cooked. Wings were very good, as was the patty melt. Celebratory vodka watermelon "shooters" for the fourth were a nice touch. My daughter and I went to this place before attending a Auburn vs Mercer game. I graduated from Mercer and my daughter is a student. Of course we had on Mercer t-shirts. There were 3 waiters helping customers all the way around us and we sat there for more than 10 minutes and no one even attempted to take our order. First time at the Tavern. This location has been three different restaurants over the past five years. They did a complete remodel inside, and the place looked great very much a sports bar vibe, which is cool for me because I really like that setting. Service was a little slow. However, an Auburn basketball game and an NFL playoff game was getting ready to start. So, the place was really getting packed. They may have been slightly understaffed for this day. Our waiter was very friendly and did well. He just looked to be covering the whole restaurant. Food finally came out after a pretty good wait, I ordered the bacon jam and pimento cheese burger with onion rings. The burger was really good and the onion rings were hand, battered and awesome. I've been to the Tavern a few times now. I feel comfortable recommending this establishment. The chicken fingers here taste homemade. The fries that accompanied the meal were also fresh. I appreciate the effort and it definitely comes across in taste. The beer selection is good if not great. They use Untappd as their beer menu but do not keep it up to date. Visited this awesome restaurant/bar last night to hear Tillman Dudley and the Top Notch Rangers. The brand was absolutely incredible! The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were unmatched! The band was outside, and the set up was perfect. There was comfortable seating with a walk up bar perfectly placed by the band. We also ordered chicken nachos, onion rings, mini corn dogs, and loaded fries for our large group. Everyone raved over the food! Great place to watch games! Tons of TVs. Was going to get the hotdogs on the menu but apparently they don't offer those anymore. Menu hasn't been updated. Ended up getting the patty melt with onion rings. Didn't eat any of the bread as it was very greasy, same with the onion rings. The beef on the patty melt was very bland, not much flavor. Last night 10 of us went to Tavern on the Trax for happy hour and dinner. After waiting for at least 20 minutes a waitress came to take our order. We had a printed list of approximately 15 beers. We tried to order 3 or 4 beers from the list and were told that they were not available. At this point the waitress became very agitated and basically told us to leave and never come back.
