Most businesses got rid of that feature and I don't ever have enough time to just walk in and wait for a place. I've gotten my cut from AJ and Noah, and both do an excellent job of fading, shaping up the neck and ears, and great conversationalists. It's a great old school vibe with older barber chairs. It is not the least expensive haircut I've ever gotten, but tips go directly to the barbers, which I appreciate, and the consistency is exactly what I look for with a cut. Most recent visit I had my hair done for headshots, and Noah crushed my look exactly and even showed me how to style my hair for the shoot. It's perfect for people like me who are claustrophobic and anxious, there is a lot of open space, it's perfectly decorated, and the stylists are incredibly kind. I came here after seeing Kat's fantasy colors on Instagram and had to give her a shot at my hair. Well, she took my hair from L'Oréal's darkest box dye to a masterpiece I get complimented on daily... twice! I'll never switch salons. On top of that, my bands are incredibly difficult to cut. They always end up raising on the left side because I have a cowlick. Stylist usually keep cutting until my bangs are around lord Farquad length, which I personally don't enjoy on myself. I'm horrible and can't currently remember her name, but the wonderful babe who cut my bangs L i s t e n e d to me and I walked out of there with straight cut bangs that weren't shorter than I asked. I always expect them to get messed up as no one has cut them perfectly in over 10 years. I was so shocked. On top of that the salon is SO CLEAN. I'm a germaphobic creature with OCD, and seeing such a clean, great smelling bathroom is always refreshing. Their decorations are beautiful. You can also get tea and water to keep you hydrated. For getting your hair cut in someone's house, I don't see how one should be expected to pay salon prices. Your hair is rinsed in the kitchen sink. There's no store to pay rent on. No staff to hire.
