So happy we found tax29! I usually use turbo tax since we don't have a complicated tax situation. With a home purchase last year, things changed. After hours of trying to figure it out..I gave up. Tax29 GETS IT. They are a judgement free zone... I am THAT person who comes in the week of April 15th annually and they never act like I should know better (despite the fact that I should!). They do amazing work keeping as much of my money for me instead of sending it to the government. Best tax experience ever! Brenda was great! The office is simple and straight-forward. They take walk-ins but was able to help me keep my appointment as close to the scheduled time as possible (it's a busy office). I think I waited 10-15 minutes. But it was worth the wait! We had been going to bruce for years and been really happy with the work....Right up until the IRS had a problem with a deduction. Bruce was nowhere to be found......he just pushed it off and said to get a tax lawyer to handle it. When I asked for a statement that he believed the deduction was correcet as well as the preparation....he flat out refused. I was totally shocked as we had been taking him our business for many years..I thought he was a stand up guy...guess you can never tell. if you never have the IRS question anything on your taxes Tax 29 is great......God help you if you need them to stand behind their work. read more

I had been going here with my father for years. Typically I was very happy, and the advise that was given seemed solid, and I trusted Bruce's opinion. For the past few years now the IRS has stated there were discrepancies in my returns, and I've been getting burned based on Bruce's suggestions. I'm going to someone else this year that will look to get what is a solid return for me without getting me in hot water with the IRS. I am extremely impressed. I was referred by a family friend and have always done my own taxes in the past. I didn't know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. I don't live in the area currently but came to visit family and dropped by to scan my paperwork in before my scheduled Zoom appointment. Rather than scan my documents, Chris (the owner) offered me an appointment later that evening after he had already met with all of his appointments that day. That is the best display of customer service I have had in a while.
