I have found that Tax Relief Inc. is a professional and extremely effective company to be doing business with. As with many others, this review is very long overdue. My association with Tax Relief, Inc started in 2009. In 2005/2007 I had several 941 payroll tax deposits stolen from my company. The one who did this was also the one who opened the mail everyday and took calls and ran the front office. By the time this employee left my employment I was in extreme circumstances with IRS, 2 weeks after she failed to show up for work I had a visitor from IRS and he assumed I had been ignoring him for months and he was not a happy man. When I told him I had no clue what he was talking about and there had to be a mistake he did not believe anything I said and the next day started seizing all of my accounts, sending my customers demand letters to have any accounts receivable sent direct to him and almost putting me out of business after 20 plus years...... I called the people at Tax relief and they managed to work out arrangements with IRS and get most of the penalties removed and get the payback amount down to something manageable that I could pay. I made all of my obligations in the timely manner and all of this has been in the history books for about 3 years. Hello, I cannot describe how pleased I am with the service from Tax Relief, Inc. As a result of Tax Relief, Inc's outstanding work, I was able to settle a six figure tax debt for a greatly reduced amount. This review is long overdue. In fact, I think I was a client of Tax Relief before Yelp was born. Regardless, I recently had occasion to refer a friend to Tax Relief, so I turned to Yelp to find their phone number. Then it hit me that I should have written a review for these guys. It's not often friends open up about their tax problems, but I am glad my friend trusted me, and that I had a trusted source to pass along with complete confidence my friend's situation would be handled appropriately. To early to speak about his experience, but when I was a client, I always felt like I was in good hands. They said they could get the IRS to stop calling. They did. They said they could ward them off during the ensuing process. They did. They said I could end up paying far less than what the IRS was asking for. I did. It may have taken a few years and a little interest, but the combined total paid to the IRS and to Tax Relief was a fraction of a fraction of the original amount.
