We asked Tax and Accounting Services to make changes to their initial tax returns that they prepared for us. Instead of making the changes and resending the returns to us for our review, they filed the initial unsigned tax returns with the IRS and Franchise Tax Board. They offered to file an amended return after tax season, but as many of you know, filing an amended return does not solve the initial problem of them filing an unsigned tax return on my behalf, that needed changes before filing. I am a small business owner and we declined to have them do any further work for us. We also asked for a refund for their tax preparation due to their egregious mistake, and they also refused to refund me. Pay more for your tax preparation from someone who will take care of your tax preparation and do business in an upstanding manner. Trust me. read more

I had a great experience. A few months ago the IRS sent me a notice asking for more clarification on a tricky issue regarding restricted stock. Figuring out how to reconcile the info the IRS had and the brokerage statements was quite complicated. Viet was able to back into the calculations and wrote a response on my behalf.
