They said they would be there in 5 minutes, and they were there, just as promised. They were fast, friendly, and super helpful. I'll never call *anyone* else ever again when I need a car!

They were at Tudor Court in Pointe Claire and wanted to go to Sedgefield in Pointe Claire. They were talking and when they looked up they noticed that the taxi was going towards the Sources overpass - NOT the way home. When they told the taxi driver that he was going the wrong way, he became belligerent and nasty. He then told them to get out of his taxi!!! THIS WAS AT 1:30AM AND FREEZING COLD!!!! Yes, he did kick them out of the taxi on the side of the road at 1:30 in the morning. This is inhuman!! It should be illegal to treat people this way - even more drastic is the fact that they did this to a man who is blind!!! Something has to be done to control your drivers, this is not in any way acceptable!! I have advised my family that if anything like this ever happens again, they should call the police and have the driver arrested.

I waited in front of my building for 15 minutes but no taxi arrived. I went back inside and called Atlas and was told that a driver had come but there was no one waiting for a cab. I said sometimes drivers mix up the address with the street by a similar name near me. I was told a driver would arrive very soon so I went back outside to wait. About 5 minutes later, an Atlas taxi zipped by on the other side of my street. I was standing on the sidewalk and waving at him but he never looked to my side of the street. I went back inside my place and called a different Taxi company.

Taxi Champlain appears to be the company with the most cars around Montreal. There was almost…read morealways a Champlain car at my hotel and if you needed to call for one, the driver was there in less than 5 minutes. The Champlain drivers were courteous, helpful with loading suitcases and knew their way around very well. They also all spoke English as one of the taxis I took in the rain ended up being something else with a driver who not only did not understand English but was rude. Cars were clean and are mainly Buick Allures and Toyota Camrys. They also have brand new Siennas for groups of 4+
