Then, the day of the rescheduled flight, we got word Jagger wouldn't make it after all and would have to fly out several days later. Lenny rolled with it without missing a beat. He was especially great managing the transfer from the Honolulu quarantine station over to Aloha Air Cargo and on to Maui. That flight from the mainland ended up delayed too, and Lenny still got Jagger to Aloha Air Cargo extremely fast. It's clear to me he's a true professional with a real network at the Honolulu animal quarantine station. Can't recommend his services enough!!!

They were nice, had regular training and were bonded to cover expenses if anything bad happened. But the people who walked my dogs were constantly changing over and at one point they couldn't cover for my visit although they had said they could and also charged me a lot more than they originally said because they decided to institute holiday rates. That's when I looked for a more stable group of people and Aloha Pro was recommended. They are a couple who used to run a restaurant and then have been in this business for many years. OMGoodness if my dogs didn't immediately fall in love with husband Frank! I could tell when I came home that he had walked them that day because they were extra excited when they greeted me at the door. Seems they would tell me stories about Uncle Frank walking them, and sadly I didn't understand, but their excitement was definitely noticeable. And when I'd go on a trip before Aloha Pro, they used to stop eating for a few days until they had to eat, but when Uncle Frank watched them, no such problem. And when I returned from a trip they were excited to see me but not as crazy as before and again they were happy to tell me that Uncle Frank took good care of them. My dog didn't see him for a year and when he came for the key she squealed and jumped up and down like he was Bruno Mars. He is magical with dogs! Snow day for dogs!…read more It is our second time doing this. Last year the snow day was $10 per family (regardless of the amount of pets). This year it was $10 per pet. I decided to only take one dog (Nalu) since simba already went to it in the past. This time the line was not as crazy and I remember we waited out there for a really long time. This time there was a QR code and it texted you when to come up to the gate. This was still a little confusing cause it shows it's your time but not really your time? You still had to stand in line that they had with possibly a handful of people getting the text at the same time. I think in a way that is helpful but not really if your dog really needs space since the distance between dogs is very little in line. There was some vendor booths - snacks. Food and activities. We tried the canine cardio there again which my dog nailed this time! Also it's better if you go early. Going late means yellow snow. lol.

I had to call them last minute because my friend's roof on her house flew off and she couldn't watch my cats. Joann and Steve came to the rescue and assured me that the cats would be fine. I highly recommend the United PetSafe program. My dog is now 12 years old and I have had no issues. Just follow the instuctions on their site. https://www.united.com/web/en-US/content/travel/animals/petsafe.aspx Since your pets will be going as cargo you have to call ahead of time to schedule a flight plan, get an airway bill, for your pet. For those that are military and the travel office schedules you with American Airlines, you will probably know that they (AA) accepts animals on a first come fist serve basis. That is wack. Imagine arriving at the airport and your pet cannot get on the plane due to it being overcrowded with other pets. Screw that. Go with United and you are guaranteed a ticket for your pet. You can choose to fly on the same flight path or take another flight. Your call. I personally prefer to fly on the same plane. Make sure you follow any/all local government rules for health certificates and Kennel requirements. The cargo team here processed my Stella and paperwork with ease. They will weigh the dog and kennel together and from there provide you a final cost. Not really much to it if you have all the required documents; so please come prepared. Hint, make sure your kennel is large enough for your dog. Overall I highly recommend the United Petsafe program.

She asked me what kind of cut I wanted and I let her know I wanted a mohawk style cut and she said she didn't understand what I wanted, I then tried to show her using my dogs body and she was still confused and started getting an attitude. She told me to pick a blade size before she could proceed and I tried telling her that I wanted to first show her what I meant and she ignored it and walked away and turned off the music and then started to walk back. My mom had been with me and told me I should leave and not allow her to cut my dog. She must've overheard my mom say this because her attitude immediately shifted and she became a little bubbly and kinder. I let her know I didn't want the mohawk anymore because it seemed too difficult to communicate with her what I wanted and I would just do a trim all over and to round his face out. She then let me know typically only poodles do that cut and asked if I was sure I wanted that cut (completely unnecessary comment). I let her know he has been getting groomed and that is his typical cut when we don't do something fun/funky. I only stayed because my dog was in need of a haircut and I was already there. I really hoped the haircut would come out great since it was the same cut on his entire body and then just face shaping and she made it a point to let me know she's been a stylist for 30 years. I had to fix up the parts that were extremely uneven and I fixed behind his ears which were not groomed in the same places. She also let me know when I picked him up how much of a good boy he was for her so I'm even more confused by the uneven cutting. I will definitely not be returning and I am so disappointed by her service because the guy (Chris) who booked my appointment was so friendly and helpful.
