What a nice, respectable, honest, and effective tax service center! TaxPath truly had mine and my family's best interests in mind. We came in with a lot to sift through in regards to our taxes and after a good four hours, one power outage, a couple cups of coffee, and a few laughs, we were able to complete our 2019 taxes. Their prices are reasonable and the employee that helped us, Saima, exhibited the upmost professionalism and respect I have ever seen. Her intelligence was astounding. She took the time and care to explain and answer any questions or concerns that arose. The owner himself was incredibly helpful and kind. I have been to TAXPath for many years now, and they are GREAT and very courteous, even through the pandemic, which was a challenge!! I have seen Mr. Mohammed and Aziz and everyone is totally kind from the Office staff (Receptionist/Ex. Assistant) in former Dublin Ofc, to now Tracy Ofc which I visited yesterday. Passionately rude and totally incompetent sums up TaxPath for you. In my most recent tax return for my LLC, they made multiple mistakes but here is the one I just still can't get my head around. This isn't the first time they are doing the taxes for me, but I seriously can't fathom how a tax professional who does this for living can be so careless to report all income generated by my LLC as expenses and claim deductions for it (I had very clearly separated and labeled the expense sheet from income sheet and it was clearly marked in big bold letters). It is when I came back home and ran through the return line by line I caught this huge blunder they had committed. Worse, after letting them know about the mistake, they never apologized for it once even though I had to make two separate trips to get this corrected. This alone is a big red flag to me. What is worst is, I got noticed by IRS and they charged me later about another error in my return that I owe them more money, all because of I trusted TaxPath to do the job. If you need more reasons. let me tell you about their customer service. I had paid more than $900 as filing fees alone for filing a return for both LLC and personal income tax. It wasn't cheap by any means but I atleast deserve to be treated with some respect. First of all I have never had any CPA yell at me. This was the first and I had to ask him to stop raising his voice. While preparing the tax returns, he made a snarky comment and complained that I had too many stock transactions and that is adding a lot of work for him. Hold on, why would I bother paying a CPA to do my taxes if my tax return was so easy and quick ?. Then he proceeds to tell me he had to charge me extra fee for filing Schedule-D. Funny thing is he made another mistake while entering these handful of stock transactions and I had to later correct him. In my filed return, there were only consolidated stock transactions reported which were only just a handful of entries. It didn't take long to enter these numbers as well, since I was taken a bit back by his comment earlier, I asked him why he made a big deal earlier about the number of stock transactions. He got so mad, raised his voice and started telling me how I am wasting his time and started to accuse me in turn on how I am being cheap for asking for discounts. The truth is I had mentioned about discount in the whole conversation only once during the first 5 minutes. There was no reason for him to get so hostile and start raising his voice and accuse me when the mistakes were from his side. The least you could do is have come courtesy, apologize and explain yourself politely. Forget about getting an apology, but atleast don't disrespect your clients and make them feel awful for choosing you. I honestly can't recommend taxpath to anyone for any price. read more

Mr Ghani helped me with my 2014 taxes at their Dublin office. The facility is neat and easily accessible with plenty of parking. Mr Ghani is very friendly and helped me get more money than I was getting myself. He asked questions and didn't make assumptions as he was doing my taxes. Aziz and Mohammed were very pleasant to work with. Hours and availability were good. However, I found two errors on my return & they were not thorough with making sure we maximized my deductions. The owner called my cell phone to let me know he was running late due to traffic. I waited outside for 30 mins. This is the third year we have gone to Taxpath at the Tracy Office. This year we had a lot of deductions, W2s and 10-99s to enter and regardless of the number of lines this added to our return, we paid the same exact rate (129.00) as we did previously - what a huge difference between paying that and over 400.00 for the other tax preparation company previously used. Our tax preparers at Taxpath have always been competent and friendly whether our return was lengthy or short. This year, when I said that our income for the next two years would have us paying lots of taxes, he discussed our projected income, went over this years docs, and suggested what we should start doing now to reduce next year's tax burden as much as we could. I suspect he could have asked us come back for a separate appointment (and charged us), but he didn't. I have had my taxes done for many years by other companies and am so pleased with Taxpath that I'll never consider going anywhere else. read more
