I have used this service for the past 5 years and was happy until last year. I dropped my taxes off in April and then I waited......and waited. After hearing nothing, I began to call, email and personally leave messages in the office. Come to find out the office had lost my file. Very upset I raised a bit of a stink and my taxes showed up as filed in July....my refund did not present itself until August. Warning, Do not use this company! read more

This company was purchased by Linda. We will never go back to Linda to have our taxes completed. Firstly, she was completely disorganized, and didn't return phone calls/emails during tax season. Think about that. You are getting your taxes done for the state and federal governments, and the person who is preparing your taxes does not return your calls. This year she stated her slow response was because a member of her staff just quit. That is unfortunate, but in reality, she has always been non-responsive. ALWAYS. Also, she is just very rude. Ensuring you have your taxes done by someone who is organized (reads emails thoroughly), and responds promptly is critical. The amount of stress and anxiety she caused us was enormous past tax season. And no discount on our bill for her lack of replies and disorganization. We cannot recommend her at all, and I think people really need to be aware. If she wants to run a successful company, she should bring in a business consultant and have someone help turn this around. But this past season for us was the last straw. We will never go through anything like that again. read more

First and foremost, this review is for Lynette. Secondly this is a review for the year of 2017 taxes! Yes last year.. and it's almost 2018. We had an appointment With Lynette and got the estimated amount owed for my taxes. Went home, sent in my amount she said I owed for the year (I'm in business for myself). Sent the the IRS, perfect done right? NOPE! I was told I needed some paperwork signed and sent back to Lynette. They have an online portal so I went on to do my e-signature.. surprise surprise it doesn't work so it states to contact the office! Message.. after message.. after message:.. after yes again another message I'm assuming she doesn't need anything more from me or that the signatures went through. Nope. Just pure laziness, she never got back to me! I'm livid... I then receive a call months later, stating she still needed signatures (and not a call by her but the front desk assistance) ummm how do I give you anything you've asked for if you never have gotten back to me!!! Now I'm late on filing my taxes.. but oh rest assured she filed an extension so I won't be in trouble. Oh great- thanks for your mistakes I WILL not be penalized. Finally 6 months later these signatures she said she needed were signed. Exact words "we don't need anything else from you, everything is caught up and we have everything...." (that includes the 350$ I paid Lynette for her terrible services) Now let's fast forwArd to October yes of 2018, almost a year later and I receive a letter from the IRS that I owed more money! What!!! Are you kidding? She estimated the amount I owed based on my paper work incorrectly and 10 months later I owe more money ? I am livid. Called Lynette's office today, of course.. Lynette's busy and cant take the phone call so they relayed a message to her. Let's see how long it takes to get a call back this time.. oh wait, I never got one to begin with! DO NOT GO HERE, such a waste of money and you put your credit in jeopardy with the IRS! Not worth the money or risk! read more

We went to Lynette for the first time last year. While our appointment was fine, it was what happened after that that wasn't great. We needed help adjusting our withholdings because we were going into debt each year just paying our taxes. We also have a small business she said she could help us with. Since she was new to us we were really excited to use her expertise to get things right. She asked us to send over pay stubs and so forth for her review so she could tell us what to do in the new year, we did our part but we did not hear back from her. We tried reaching her by phone, by email, by stopping by her office (no one ever there), it was as though she dropped off the face of the earth. Never to be heard from again. I thought maybe she had a horrible tragedy. But then we received a mailer from her in October.....so I guess she's still alive. But we'll never go back of course. read more
