This was the second year we used tax path. We were new to the area and we were hoping to find our new CPA. We are so glad we came here. They are very professional and friendly. My spouse and I both had our taxes done in a timely manner and got a great return. The prices here are definitely fair! I recommend them to everyone. My wife and I usually do our own taxes. But, this time around, it got a bit more complicated and wanted to see a professional. We made an appointment and was assisted by Aisha. From the very beginning of the conversation, we felt at ease by her professionalism, tax law knowledge and demeanor. We had a ton of questions and she was able to answer all of them with confidence. I've been going to TaxPath for years, they were recommended to me and I'm glad they were. They are friendly and very thorough, finding every way to get you a bigger refund and they are efficient. During tax season, when it's hard to get an appointment, they get you in within a week and the meeting itself is less than (30) minutes. The only issue I had was when I kept trying to reach Abdul because I had a question on a refund I thought I'd be getting, he wouldn't return my calls. I called and called, it was very frustrating. Mohammed finally reached out to me and after investigating he was able to find the answers I needed. He saved the business for me and the reason why I'll be going back next year. read more

We have been with taxpath for years and have referred all our family, we missed the extension deadline by 2 days not notified by taxpath that it was coming up. called and reception rudely told us you are too late and we could not talk to Mohammad or Izziz and that we would have to make an appointment But that she couldn't set it up at this time, and that we have to do our Taxes over the phone. We still haven't heard from the receptionist for an appointment. read more

Hi I've been using tax path for the last 13 years I was in need of a great tax person and Aziz came into my life like a fresh breath of air after 13 years I've never had to worry about my taxes Aziz is a very professional person his goal is to do his 100% for you and for your tax needs I've been through business or deals real estate issues and even personal issues and threw it all Aziz has been there by my side and guided me through the dark side to the light side I can't say enough about him but he's a great person he runs a professional business and the people that work for him are mostly family and they are some of the best people you'll ever wanna be around or meet they will do everything for you to make sure that you're happy and if not you talk to Aziz and he'll pull out the whip on them just kidding anyway Aziz is the best!!! I wish I would've known 4 years ago, what I know today. Tax path was recommended to us by an acquaintance and unfortunately we took their word for it and put our faith in their hands. Big fat mistake. Every year tax path did our taxes...4 years....we received something from the IRS afterwards saying we owed more money. EVERY single year. I would ask my husband, what are we paying them for? They're supposed to be the experts. We were getting penalized for tax path's mistakes. Just under $20,000 in "owed" taxes under the tax return they prepared. Only to find out we don't owe that. I don't want to get into the errors they made, but they were big ones and now we have to try to correct everything with the IRS. Not only that...but how did they NOT notice my employer was inadvertently submitting the wrong filing status for me? I was receiving letters saying I was filing incorrectly and soon as I went to a new tax preparer it was the " first" thing he noticed!? Big mistakes for a business in which taxes are their specialty. Steer clear for your own good. read more

Horrible. Don't use them. I contracted with Aziz to take care of my IRS issues. He did nothing. I gave him $3000 upfront. This was in 2014. NOTHING was done. I contacted him in September of 2015 requesting a refund. He completely ignored my calls, my emails - I even tried contacting the person that introduced me to him - NOTHING! DO NOT USE THEM!!!! read more

A great place to do business at. I would definitely recommend TaxCarePro for your income tax preparation. I was a new customer this year and Mohammed was extremely thorough in going over my tax return with me. They have been in this location for 9 years and in business for over 25 years altogether. His father has his Masters degree in accounting and both are extremely knowledgeable. When I asked my previous accountant of 20 years if there was anything I could do to reduce my tax liability his only answer was to have my employer deduct more taxes from my paycheck, thus having to pay less at the end of the year. However Mohammed explained to me that if I make greater contributions to my IRA and/or 401k that will in effect reduce my taxable income and also reduce my monies owed to the IRS and State. Maybe that's common knowledge but I wasn't aware of it. The end result was by taking his advice he reduced what I owed the government by a considerable amount and at the same time increased my IRA balance. Money saved, what more can you ask for? Their fee's are very reasonable as well. I will be back next year for sure. read more

I have been using TaxPath to do both my personal and corporate tax filings for about 5 years now. Prior to this, I bounced from one accounting firm to another looking for consistent quality at a reasonable price. The search finally ended when I found Aziz at TaxPath. At the end of each year, I meet with them to review the current state of my finance and to make any necessary adjustments. Come the new year, we complete a standard checklist of deliverables before the actual tax preparations. Then we meet onsite to prepare the tax filings. This is always done with extreme care and attention to detail. Aziz always picks up on some error I might have made and always has a suggestion on how I can rectify it moving forward. He also answers all my questions in precise detail and I really feel like I have a pretty good understanding of the tax system and accounting as a whole now. I actually enjoy doing my taxes now and feel much more informed with the process as a whole. I used to visit their Dublin office as this was very close to my home but since they moved to the Tracy office, I travel there and have absolutely no problem in doing so. I would travel 2 hours each way to get my taxes done with Aziz and TaxPath as I am confident I am getting a very high quality service. read more

Aziz has been doing bookkeeping for me for a little over 20 years he claims to be in business for 20 years. He has handled my account for almost 20 years over he was invited by my Cpa called text Care which he named his company tax Care in the beginning at this location without the permission of the owner of that company and that tex care was, located in Concord at the time he used Tex care name for a very long time he stole that business credibility and name for several years upon the owner of that business trying to ask him to take his name down. He didn't do it for several years and then he named himself, Tax Path, he has been notariziing documents without my knowledge what to do I'm asking you all this is my first attempt to do something about it. Plain sight he notarized my documents without my knowledge and he stole hundreds and thousands of dollars course of 20 over years, he was committing fraud from where he came from. It was an outstanding experience at all stages of the process. - In the waiting room, a chair is fitted with a massage pad to help you briefly forget about your taxes prior to your appointment. The wait was only a few minutes. - Mohammed was professional, knowledgeable, kind and patient. Both personal and business taxes were efficiently prepared on the spot, for a competitive price - unlike my experience with a CPA, where it took weeks, and costs were prohibitive. - I liked the fact that TaxPath in Dublin was consolidated with the TaxPath Tracy office, where both father and son are now located. And I noted that on Yelp and Google Reviews, TaxPath has a long history of happy customers, stretching back to 1986. - I was also pleased that the Tracy office is a more modern space, unlike what is seen in some of the older photos posted on Yelp by past clients. I had been doing our taxes online & that particular year we were owing a ton. I wanted a tax accountant to review my entries to confirm I did everything correct. We met with Mohammed & confirmed the bad news but what impressed me was he did not charge us for his time or input. We would have gladly paid & told him so but he would not charge us. I met with two CPAs to file my business tax and personal tax for 2017. One of them wasted my time and wanted to charge me an incredibly unreasonable amount and also kept delaying filing it. The other CPA was a fraud and stole my identity. I was very stressed out because the second CPA gave me a lot of trouble and I thought no one could help me or was willing to help me with my taxes.
