It is so nice to have a large venue that can bring in the concerts and I've attended many at this venue. But the one thing this place needs to get better at is the drink service. The length of time we spend waiting in line to purchase a drink is RIDICULOUS. Last night for Snoop Dogg I spent OVER 45 minutes in line for a beer. Unacceptable. And all the people waiting in line for a beverage creates massive congestion in the concourse. read more

I drove 3 hours for a concert here and will not be doing that again. It's nice and clean but so small. Security has no experience and any little thing will hold up the lines for a long time. Since it's so small, it's hard to get around without bump into others and spilling drinks. The bar staff is probably the worst part. You will be waiting for 15-30 minutes in line at a bar for $20 drinks that are nothing but soda (2 oz liquor 15 oz soda), if they get that right. I ordered a vodka tonic that the bartender asked about 4 times and each time it was wrong! You are guaranteed to miss 20-30 minutes of any performance if you decide to leave to get a drink. Seat is like being on a small plane, extremely tight and narrow. If you move suddenly you are bound to hit the people next to you. If you stand up, you'll be blocking everyone. And being seated will make your knees and back cramp. The only reason they get 2 stars is due to cleanliness of the building, $15 parking and the view from our seats which is due to the size. Otherwise expect Chicago prices and attitude. read more

This venue had an awesome set up. I sat in section 104 row 19 and the seats were awesome. I had a great view of the stage. I would say it was well the 2.5/3 hr drive to get here. The concessions were cheaper than what I'd find in Chicago so no complaints there. The only gripe I have is the group of men in the suite directly behind me were obnoxious AF. The screamed and yelled and whistled sooooo loud it was hurting my ears. I would definitely come back out here for another concert. Less than a tank of gas to get here, $40 great seats, cheaper concessions and a nearby casino....WINNING!!! read more

We stopped in for a Trans Siberian Orchestra concert last evening and this is a solid venue for middle sized shows! Holds around 12K people and even the nosebleed seats are pretty good for a concert! Parking was very easy and was only $5 for the show. Easy in and out from I-74 and some great looking bars and restaurants in the area that we wish we could have tried. read more

What a fabulous facility! If we lived closer, I'd want to go there for concerts! Living near Chicago, we typically see artists at much larger venues, so I was unsure of what to expect. I had read some previous reviews about poor parking, or AC issues, or even the cost of food/drink. Maybe it's due to experience and comparison to larger facilities like United Center, Soldier Field, or the Tinley Park Amphitheater, but I couldn't find one thing to truly complain about! We easily found parking close by, without forking out $40 for the reserved parking...which I could see paying in a larger city, but not Moline. Security and entry were quick. The food/beverages were on par if not less than I would expect from a venue, but not near as crowded. Speaking of crowd, it may not have been sold out, but as a female, and having my 8 yr old daughter with me, there were plenty of CLEAN bathrooms, and no wait! That's huge! As for the seating, I would not have wanted to be on the floor, but I don't think any venue is good for floor seating unless you pay a ton for the first few rows...we were in the first row balcony, and it was fantastic! I think it would have still been fine in the nose bleeds because the facility isn't so oversized, and you would still have a good vantage point. The acoustics were a little funky at times, but I don't know if that was due to the Center, or the sound boards...either way, it's not worth removing a star from my review. Even from the farthest seat, there were large screens on either side of the stage...which for those who go to concerts often, like me, unless you are in the first couple rows, you look at the screens for close ups anyway! Overall, we really liked the TaxSlayer Center. It was clean, well priced, friendly staff, numerous restrooms, and a great size for good seating throughout! read more

I thought it was cool that Matchbox Twenty was coming to the Taxslayer Center (formerly known as the iWireless Center, but it will live on in my heart forever as The Mark of the Quad Cities), but had no interest in paying upwards of $30 for a seat at an arena concert. Then I got a free ticket! We were in the nosebleed section which was fine with me seeing as the concert cost me absolutely nothing, but I couldn't believe that the venue didn't provide screens for those of us who weren't seated close enough to see Rob Thomas' face (ie,10,000 paying customers). It honestly could have been anyone down there on the stage lip syncing along with Yourself or Someone Like You. I had a great time at the Taxslayer Center because Matchbox Twenty is fun and I went with a good friend. However, I think arena concerts are a rip off in general and the Taxslayer Center did a particularly bad job of ensuring that all concert goers had an optimal experience. read more

I Wireless Center brings you closer to all the action!! This place is extremely tiny!! Some people might think that can be a bad thing but boy, I don't think there is a bad seat in the house (unless someone is in front of you with a large obnoxious sign obstructing your view)! This place holds many local sporting events and concerts and I actually liked how intimate it can make you feel to the event you're watching. Super easy to find parking and it's right next to several restaurants and bars. I only question as to why they only sell Miller Lite(or Bud Light, I can't remember) inside? I don't want to sound like an alcoholic but COME ON!!! Again, there's not much to say about this place other than it being rather small and makes you feel like you're right on top of the action. I stayed at the Radisson next-door. For 3 1/2 hours they played the same obnoxious, irritating very loud public address system recording about the maximum size of a purse you could bring in or whatever. I had to call the front desk at the Radisson and call the TaxSlayer Center 3 times to get them to shut the stupid thing off at 9 o'clock at night. What a bunch of careless fools. read more

See: Burger King - 1 star - No sitting monarch, only an individual who goes by "manager." See: Circuit City - 1 star - After breaking in the front door, we were disappointed to find, instead of a bustling robot metropolis, only empty shelving and at least one bird for some reason. See: Lowe's - 2 stars - No one named Lowe was there. Got a star back for their doorknob selection. As we arrived for what we thought was the Kansas City Royals (Winslow is the sports fan. Sometimes I wish he would just tell me I'm wrong when I insist on something.), with a sour taste in our mouths already. "Tickets?" a woman wearing a jacket asked at the door. "Tickets?" I questioned. I thought tickets were only for airplanes, 50/50 raffles, and drinks. Having spent nearly our entire February budget on a pallet of Sour Patch Kids, we only had enough money for 2 tickets. As they do not accept Sour Patch Kids as currency, we were forced to leave our twin four year old sons, Gregor and Worcestershire, with the lady in the jacket. (They seemed apprehensive, but until they earn the money to afford their own tickets, this is the consequence.) Once we got inside the venue, everything seemed to begin to fall apart. We hadn't walked twenty feet before we noticed a wire protruding from the back of one of the cash registers at the very first concession stand. Not the second, not the third, and not even the fourth... the first one. Outraged, I asked to see the owner who "wasn't there." We had this experience in February and I apologize for taking so long to write this review, which I appreciate you waiting so patiently for, but my phone is just now getting WiFi. Why? The WiFi here is a catastrophe, to say the least. Take the name "I Wireless" lightly. WiFi stands for "Wireless Fi," right? Well, my phone took three hours to just tell me that it couldn't connect to the Internet. The tornado that hit Illinois this past week paled in comparison to the WiFi tragedy we experienced at the I Wireless Center. The event we saw was called "hockey." The only "hockey I've ever experiences was tonsil hockey, and this event had none of that. In fact, even though everyone was ice skating together, there was nothing romantic about it. Yet another misleading component - can you believe it!? The spicy chicken sandwich, however, lived up to its name: it was spicy and was also chicken - the only redeeming quality. I'll be staying on the my side of the river from here on out, and we will not be coming back until they rename it to better fit the experience: The I Lots of Wires Center is a name more indicative of the time you'll have here. I love David Bowie so much that in 2004 I went to the middle of nowhere in Moline, IL to see him perform on the Reality tour. I remember the venue itself being so so. Food was okay. It was way too far from our hotel. Thankfully we got a shuttle from the hotel to the venue otherwise we would've never made it to the show. Hmmmm,it's a nice venue but it reminds me of a fancy high school auditorium.I saw the Janet Jackson concert here. Likes: Free parking,easy entrance to your seats from any door,and you can see the stage from most seats(unlike some venues). Dislikes: Buying floor seats is kinda useless.We paid extra for the main floor,but most of the space seems to be the main floor.I still had to look at the screen.So,if you are going for a music concert don't pick a seat higher than 20 if floor seats are your thing. The concessions were only selling soda,there was a beer guy walking around,like at a baseball game,but a cocktail option would have been nice. If there was a place selling liquor,no one could find it. The seats were hard to find,we had to ask 3 employees for help and even they were confused. So,It seems to be a nice venue for other things,but not so much for a music concert,or maybe for a smaller act-Not Ms.Janet Jackson,she needed a better sound system and a bigger screen. read more

Not a bad place for a concert. I've been here numerous times for concerts. They lay them all out differently, so depending on the show sometimes the seats are good, sometimes not. Best seats in the house are in the lower bowl in my opinion. It's not a huge place, which is almost a good thing because really bad seats are hard to get. Floor seats can make it hard to see depending on who is in front of you, and upper bowl is too far away. Concessions are expensive (it is at all these places), but parking is easy to find and cheap. I would definitely come back here for a concert. read more
