($16 for adults) Total of five shows are put on during a season: 1 spring show, 3 summer shows, and 1 winter show. When Guild first started, it was a theatre open to the elements. Have no fear, the theatre is now enclosed and has air-conditioning throughout the building along with concession stand and restrooms. Inside the theatre audience members will experience new cushioned seats with ample amounts of leg room and new speaker/sound system to ensure the best sound for all. Everyone involved are volunteers of the QC and do their best to give you the best experience possible. Tickets can easily be ordered online or through their volunteer box office. The Beaux Art Fair comes around 2 times a year (this year is is May 9th, 10am - 5pm & May 10th,…read more10am - 4pm and Sept 12th, 10am - 5pm & Sept 13th, 10am - 4pm). Located in downtown Davenport right by the Figge Art Museum. They have streets filled with booths that have goods made by local artists. You can find everything from photos, jewelry, home decor, furniture and garden decor. The items are so unique (a little pricey, but that's normal). We have fun just walking around and looking! They also have some food stands (my favorite is the kettle corn, nothing compares to the real stuff from the kettle!). Admission is free, and you can find free street parking on the nearby streets. A fun family activity for spring and fall weekends!

We did not see it ahead of time, but there is a super-helpful map on their website noting places you can park near the Spotlight. The theater had a remarkable feel to it. I didn't know that it was in a former Scottish Rite Cathedral, but many of the features have been preserved and add to the character and ambiance. Just of note: the seats were a little uncomfortable by the end due to cramped leg room and needing to sit at an odd angle to see the stage well. We were in Group B which afforded us the wings. Close to the stage but the seats were aimed at the other wall instead of the stage. I wouldn't advocate changing a thing - just something for the ticket buyer to be aware of!

There is now elevator access for the handicap audience, amazing seating and great air flow conditioning. Pizza, candy, ice cream, walking tacos, pretzels, wings - standard and nuggets (boneless) in 3 flavors that I saw they may have more. You can get a slice or a whole pizza if you want. Want a burger...not problem got that too!!!! Hot dogs. Fries in the normal, cheese and taco meat varieties. They have a slushie a machine a true ICEE slushie machine. They have nachos.....super nachos and OREO NACHOS yes you read that right!!! 6 dollars for large popcorn and 6 dollars for large soda. Unlimited free refills. Everything is very fairly priced for a theatre. The food is fantastic. This is our second time visiting in just a few weeks. Makes a nice evening with the family on a Sunday night. If ever in Blue Grass and want to try something nostalgic give this place a go. They even have rental radios for you to use if you don't wanna leave your car on !! Heck of a place.
