I found Naseer on Yelp and my experience with him has been pretty freaking awesome! I received multiple sources of incomes last year and felt overwhelmed/intimidated because I am still pretty new to filing my taxes. So when I came to Yelp, I was trying to find someone that I could trust and someone that wouldn't take advantage of tax ignorance or rip me off. I came across Naseer and gave him a call. Over the phone, he was able to break everything down to me and explained how taxes work in way that I could understand....I almost wish my the university could just hire him to teach us what the heck is going on in the real world. He taught me so much that I started sharing some tax advice he gave me with some of my friends, and now I seem like the tax pro lol. One thing that I was also impressed by was that Naseer took the time to walk me through step-by-step some of the best tips and practices that were directly applicable to me. He even has a bunch of helpful resources on his site that I was able to reference while and after talking to him. On his website, there is this neat feature that allowed me to just upload all of the necessary documents to this sweet little web portal he has set up for his clients. I don't live in the Sacramento-area, so kudos for catering to the remote crowd! He mentioned that he works with a lot of local businesses. I've been doing my own taxes since I was 18 years old, my husband as of last year became a 1099-Misc independent contractor which was incurred a self employed tax that had us owing over 13k in federal taxes alone. We decided to find a tax expert to help us out. I sent out 15 requests for consultation through yelp. Although TaxWorks Plus wasn't the cheapest but it was still reasonably priced for the amount of work needed for our taxes and he was the only one with a full 5 stars and excellent written reviews. Small delay in getting to our taxes but with the pandemic going on it's understandable. Yesterday we signed our taxes and are pay less than half of what we originally owed. Naseer is great at getting back to you in a timely manner and the process was really easy. He maximized our deductions and even went above and beyond by helping us situate our daughters (who's a college student and turned 18 last year) taxes. We will definitely be coming back next year and on. We'll also be referring all our friends and family! read more

I moved to California a year ago. In the past I have done my own tax returns, but this time I had moving expenses, two state returns, going from a W-2 employee to a 1099 employee and considerable medical expenses. Consequently I wanted someone with experience to file my returns. I found good reviews for this company on Yelp, and I gave them a call. Naseer spoke with me for a few minutes and got an idea of what I had to declare. He was friendly and personable and very professional. It was just my luck that he had a cancellation and got me in the next morning, which was fabulous because I waited until a week before the tax deadline. I brought in my paperwork, he asked me some questions and he filled out everything on his computer while we spoke.
