Dr. Taylor has always been to make my mind, body and spirit relieved, especially when out of alignment somewhere. I HIGHLY recommend.

I followed Amber here when she changed locations. Vanessa is a godsend! :)…read more After I was left with a mess from my previous stylist who said my hair was "unfixable" and I would unfortunately have to grow the fashion colors out, I was frantically searching for a salon and stylist to salvage my hair. I researched online and looked at some reviews to land on Salon Synergy. Gave them a call to be greeted by friendly staff who offered me an appointment that same day!! Most places book weeks out in advance which is typical for awesome stylists, so I was pleasantly surprised they could get me in the same day! They booked me for a consultation, and I in detail explained to Vanessa what my end goal was for my hair was, which she most certainly achieved! I was scared my hair was a lost cause, but she certainly delivered beautiful results quickly the same day of the consultation; reassuring me it was possible :) I for sure will be returning here for any hair needs in the future, and am thrilled with the experience I had at Salon Synergy. I have finally found a salon and stylist who is amazing!

We stopped in here quickly while looking for water based nail polish (who knew it was that hard to…read morefind?!) Anyways, it was a long shot, but we entered this shop and the service was amazing. When I asked the woman working behind the counter, she immediately dropped what she was doing to read the ingredients on the boxes of the nail polishes they had. While they were not what we were looking for, she went behind her counter and gave me a sample of their "New Mommy Belly Butter"- she saw that I am pregnant and gave me a free tub of stretch mark cream- which was very sweet. Each product (all of which are handmade in small batches), clearly identifies which ingredients are used and if you have any questions, they are very open to helping. Something else I really like, is that they use recycled glass, paper, plastic and wood packaging whenever they can and they also support Cancer Awareness through local fundraising events. A percentage of their sales also goes to Jen's Friends Cancer Foundation; I love companies that give back like that. We continued to look around and they also have a whole line of natural products designed for babies which include Baby Bubbles & Shampoo, Tiny Hiny Cream (the name alone is adorable), Sandman Pillow Mist, Herbal Baby Oil and Talc Free Powder. Their "New Mommy Essentials" line also includes Massage Oil and Pillow Mist. The layout of the store itself is very cute and while it is packed with products (scented wax pottery, reed diffusers, potpourri, scented liners, bath salts, body wash, hand and body creams, salt scrubs, shave soaps, lotions and much, much more), it is still very clean, bright and open. Some of the prices were a bit high but we purchased a bottle of Lavender Mist that helps relieve stress and enables relaxation for $4. I would definitely recommend this shop if you have any questions regarding aromatherapy and natural products.

At first I didn't expect much from this little shop, but after spending twenty minutes in here I was impressed by the products and staff. A few of my favorite items were their collection of men's products as well as their Poo-Pourri selection. Looking at the Poo-Pourri gave me a hearty chuckle as my wife looked at their hand lotions. In the end we loved the items here and the quality is phenomenal. There is definetly an item for everyone... including the most manly man around (no me obviously).

Learning to ski as an adult is both thrilling and terrifying. While happy with my slow but steady…read moreprogress, I'm often looking for ski locations offering trails that align with my current ability and offer a bit of a challenge when I'm up for it. Cranmore delivered just that and more. Lots of greens and blues where I could work on my skills, try trails with escalating difficulty, and still kick back when I just want to enjoy myself and not be a ball of nerves. I also enjoyed the length and variety of their many trails I could traverse. Was happy to have more options than just a quick up and down in a straight line over a full day of skiing. Their main lift was quick and skiers were able to load efficiently. Lots to look at on the way up. The day of my last visit there were several ski competitions going on just next to the lift so it was fun to watch people competing and see spectators make the trek up to watch as well. Ski patrol were out and about and lots of staff available to check in with as needed. The lodge itself had everything I needed... free cubbies to store your stuff, bench seating to change into your boots, adequate table space both up and downstairs to grab a bite to eat, indoor and outdoor gas fireplaces to huddle by, a bar and hot foods, and best of all... a bathroom at the same level as where you can ski up to so no having to navigate stairs in clunky footwear. Drop off area for skis, quick in and out to purchase tickets, simple walk over to a very large parking area. I can't wait to return when the opportunity arises!
