There are offerings for children's activities such as petting zoo, hay ride, hay bale maze, and possibly other things. I appreciate the go get em spirit to take advantage of every opportunity to make a living this holiday season. By the way, the entire grounds are surveilled, which also feels odd. Just so odd. ODD!!!! We ended up getting 2 nice pumpkins for a decent price, though with the unpleasantries of phone restrictions I would probably have preferred a grocery store purchase. I very much wish we continued down to road to our initial destination, though there is also a sense of satisfaction having helped a very unusual albeit not exactly pleasant small business. Pumpkins are taxed, so be ready for that. They take card and cash. Cashier was extremely charming and friendly.

First of all, they have the cutest mini air plants AND they offer them in all kinds of fun containers. Second, they have an option for you to pot your own plant in all kind of mediums. Lastly, you can also hook your plant up with all kinds of fun stuff to give it character. I would definitely shop here again and bring friends here. Several varieties of trees - bright green, white tipped, scarlet red, and on and on. He gave us all kinds of advice on what plants we should be looking for, also explained the difference in cheap, run of the mill, landscaping trees that most everyone has in their yard. Sign up from their Facebook page on a Signup Genius form (I think it's only weekends, 3 groups at a time.) The house has Christmas lights out front, but also the entire porch is essentially display cases of Christmas decorations. Inside, the entire first floor is filled with trees. 700-some this year, of all sizes, all over, plus Santas, nutcrackers, and other decorations. Nicely done, sometimes grouped by type, on almost every surface. The bathroom is a little less decorated, and the kitchen is somewhat "normal" but with trees around the top on shelves, some other displays, and free hot chocolate and cookies. There is also candy for sale, and cookie dough. The owner is sweet and super kid-friendly. Fun to talk to. No charge, but donations for the food bank. Figure 15-30 minutes, though Baby K wanted to go through several times and go in and outside again. Fun for kids and adults.

It reminded me of great outdoor festivals that mix music and arts and crafts, such as the Pitchfork Music Festival in my hometown of Chicago. My friend chose a shirt and had it screen printed in front of her very eyes. I chose to order from them later, directly from their website. I chose the cool inverted Smokestack Ohio design (see their Etsy shop pics). After completing my order through their Etsy site, I was immediately notified that the ringer tee I chose was not available. Ashley gave me great customer service via email, including lots of alternatives. Turn around time was fast, and my shirt with shipping actually turned out to be cheaper than if I bought it on site in Ohio. The tee is Anvil brand, a nice alternative to American Apparel, and it's comfy and stylish. I've got the perfect souvenir from my trip to Cincinnati, an Ohio tee shirt by Chop Chop!

A quick tour of the studio -screen printing labs, sewing rooms, garage, props everywhere, a skate ramp- is enough to show the schizophrenic creativity bursting out of this place. They seem to do graphic design and creative branding every which way from Sunday. From what I saw they do a brilliant job of it too. Swing by the space if they're open to the public sometime, its an art piece in and of itself.
