The studio audience jeers which is inevitably mixed in with the obligatory multiple *bleeps* for audibly uttered obscenities. The waiting area is very clean and neat with a nice entertaining TV. Having a clean clinic is one of the most important things to me. The staff assured me that I would be seen in a timely manner, and they were right. Before I knew it, my name was called to see the doctor. The doctor I saw was very intelligent and knowledgeable. He answered my questions thoroughly and wrote me my prescriptions. One of the best doctors I've ever experienced. The doctor walked me step by step what I needed. I also got a referral quickly and easily. They are able to transfer my records to wherever I needed them without issue. All in all, Hermosa Medical Center was a great experience and I highly recommend anyone to go for their medical needs.

Even though we live way across town now, we didn't change providers because "if it ain't broke don't fix it", plus our kid is pretty physically healthy so we don't travel to his office much anyway . Now, here's potential deal breakers and/or makers about Dr. Sandesara so you can do the pros and cons for yourself: If you want a crunchy-style pediatrician with iPads in the waiting area to help you loophole out of the public schools' immunization requirements, keep looking. This is a pretty meat and potatoes operation. For all intents and purposes the office runs out of a storefront. Parking is on-street, exam room decor is strictly 1990s Disney, and the waiting room is run down and frequently crowded. On the upside, Dr. Sandesara is one of the most accessible doctors on our family's health plan. We have never dealt with navigating some ridiculous voice mail maze or a messaging service while simultaneously caring for a sick child. We actually have his direct cell phone number, which like never happens in this day and age unless the practitioner is a friend of the family or something. Example: my kid got sick one time while we were out of town on Christmas Eve, and we were able to reach Dr. Sandesara pronto. His staff is also super friendly. In brief: it's not perfect, but it hits the high notes in all the right places so it totally works for our family.

I've heard mixed reviews of Alexian Brothers over the years. I've visited people there but have…read morenever had to use their services. My wife had a bad case of the flu and we wound up at the ER late one night. She was seen almost immediately. The staff was pleasant and attentive. They listened, which I don't always see from hospital staff. The nurses were really wonderful - available and helpful. I can't entirely say the same about the staff doctor - I didn't get his name but he was a young guy who, while I'm sure is a very good doctor, didn't have the best bedside manner. And, when I had a question for him and couldn't get him to come to the room, I walked over to the desk where he was chatting about sports with others. When I tried to interrupt, he told me to wait and he'd see me when he was available. While I understand that everyone deserves a break now and again, being available for your patients is paramount. Clearly, not working and not being able to answer a simple question because you're talking about unimportant things is not what should be expected. Outside of my complaint about the doctor, we were very happy with how they treated us and cared for my wife. Of course, we have not seen the bill yet...

If you black don't go to Alexian Brothers Hospital. I started with a 140/80 blood pressure and discharge with a 189/90 blood pressure. I had to beg to please take out the needle still in my arm so I could at least put my coat on. Three blankets were not enough. I then realized I was in the room that the ambulance bring patients through double doors heavy with ice. Temperature about 10 degrees outside. I will NEVER, NEVER go back there again!

The baby wasn't feeling totally cooperative so I need to visit again for some more views. But the care I received here is what I have come to expect from Northwestern physicians.

They also have another building, located right across the street. I absolutely adore the doctors here. Been coming here for 5+ years, and each time I am treated with nothing but respect. I always get a call the day before ,confirming my appointment. I never have to wait, sometimes I would come way to early, and if they were not busy I would get seen right away. And i have been seen by more than one doctor here in both buildings. They have valet parking available. Not sure how much it costs since i park on the street being a cheapass. It is a huge building with many doctors, so of course people will have different experiences, depending on which doctor you see.

She sat there with her hand on my records and made me explain why I was leaving. She tried to talk me into staying. She refused to give me the files until I got angry. I gave the office three stars because the nurses and office staff are pretty good. The billing office is a complete joke. Dr. Floro was a bit creepy when she refused to give me the files.
