Taylor Home Improvement did an awesome job on repairing our hallway and ceiling after we encountered a water leak last month. Austin worked diligently with the mitigation team and insurance. He and his team were attentive to our needs, including a "time crunch" due to having out-of-town visitors and needing to get our place up to speed as quickly as possible. Austin and his team were also very polite, respectful of our property and left everything clean at the end of the day. Taylor was referred to me as the sub-contractor for a window company for installation. Set up an appointment and took time off work to be there. Was called 10 minutes before appointment to tell me he was running late and if I was still interested he could be a 1/2 hour late. I said okay. 5 minutes before the new appointment, he called and said he was still 1/2 hr away because he had an employee get hurt at worksite and had to run to hospital. I said okay again. He arrived and took measurements, no samples of windows and said I would get an estimate within the week. Week and 1/2 later and still no contact. Between the report of injury, the tardiness, and the lack of follow-thru, I concluded my business should go elsewhere. read more

"From Our Family to Yours You Can Count on Taylor!" That is their motto and we definitely do not agree that they can be counted on. Signed contract on May 6, 2021 with completion date listed as July 14, 2021. Took them a year to get 6 windows installed. We refused the first windows because they were custom made 4" too short. Also never heard from Steve, the owner. Called a couple of times and he was not available. They never called to cancel appointments for weather related or other excuses. Install was completed on July 6, 2022 but we had to play a "cancer card" to get a response.. Stay Away from Taylor - you can't count on them! That should be their new motto. read more

A rep from Taylor Home Improvement came to our home for an estimate. He was aggressive about "upselling" and we were only interested in an estimate for the job we had called him out for. Needless to say, he never got back to us with an estimate. We repeatedly tried to get in touch with him and when we finally did, he said it sounded like we "had no money" to fix our house. BEWARE of calling this company unless you want to be "upsold" a lot of work you don't need or aren't interested in doing at this time. read more

I am in a rental half owned by one of the owners of Taylor Home Improvement. When his roofers did the roof they used my ladder without asking, did not put it back in place, and got caulking on it. They also left trim coil and fascia metal in my yard. Its still sitting where they left it to this day. They also moved some mirrors that were behind a hedge (not sure why they needed moved to do the roof) for reflective purposes (i love to garden)... anyway, they fell over and broke. No one cleaned them up. I told the gutter installers about it when they followed up on the roof a few weeks later... and no one cleaned it up. So it too still sits. Lastly they used a cap nail to atrach a fascia board. Some other nit picky things about the gutters and clean up that i wont go into for brevity. I Will post the rest of my pics soon. No one let them know they had cancelled the appointment and now they will be scrambling to find a company to will be able to do the repairs. To not call and inform them that the estimate was not possible and that it had been cancelled is horrible. We were happy to be referred to Taylor Home Improvement after purchasing our first home. We had our realtor refer us to several roofing companies in the area and gathered various quotes. We were then contacted by Tony with THI who was able to meet us at our home regarding our plans for a new roof. He was thorough in explaining the roofing process and promised to beat any of the other quotes we received. Tony came through on his promise and gave us the best price we had seen from several other companies by a substantial margin. Tony also mentioned that THI did home remodeling during our meeting which peaked our interest as we had planned on replacing our fireplace mantel. We again called several companies regarding quotes and came back to Tony as a reference. Tony's contractor met with us and went over the plan, which included tearing down and replacing the mantel with a new piece of reclaimed/rustic barn wood, as well as mounting a television and adding an electrical outlet above the mantel. We were delighted with the results and the final price of this project. The roofers came on time on their scheduled date and finished the project in two days. The were respectful and did not leave any mess behind upon finishing. We are happy with the job and feel safe with the lifetime warranty on the shingles (30 years) and 5 year labor warranty for any issues that may arise. We would definitely recommend THI and Tony as their reference to get in contact with for any roofing/remodeling plans! read more

First off, let me say that once they finished my project, I was very happy with the results. With that being said, there were some problems. I was told that work would begin Tuesday....it did not. Work actually began Friday. Communication from Taylor Home Improvement was extremely poor and they did a very poor job notifying me ofscheduling issues. read more

We requested a quote for windows and doors from Taylor Home Improvement. A pleasant fellow named 'Kevin' arrived 1-18-21. He took measurements and confirmed our needs. He said estimate would be back within three days. We have yet to hear from 'Kevin' on 2/1.21 When contacting the THI office manager 'Corinne' apologized and wished us luck. Very disappointed at lack of follow thru or concern. Glad we found out early. We've moved on. read more

Sal and his crew did an excellent job including the tear off in windy conditions followed by the professional installation of the high quality singles including drip edge, snow/ice shield, and ridge vents. I was also particularly impressed with the meticulous clean-up they performed in gathering countless nails and other debris. Steve Taylor remained hands-on including various on-site visits to ensure the work was completed correctly and on-time. They will also be installing new gutters at a later date, but I would highly recommend this company for all your roofing needs! read more

CAUTION!! I chose Taylor Home Improvement to add gutters to the extended roof over my deck because they were locally owned and operated. Their representative Brian Canull came out, took measurements, borrowed MY ladder to be thorough, and gave me a quote. He was on-time and very polite. Their quote was close to a couple others so I chose Taylor. Taylor then sent an electronic agreement for me to sign clearly indicating the full amount. Brian followed up and drove to my house to pick up a deposit check for 1/2 so I would "get on the schedule". THEN another electronic agreement shows up for an ADDITIONAL 35% - no calls, no emails, no explanation. I had to call TAYLOR to find out that they changed their mind on the pricing, wanted to expand the scope, and needed more money to do the job. When I talked to other companies that had bid, I was told that their quote was all-inclusive. I told Brian at Taylor to return my deposit and he indicated there's a "20% cancellation fee for any reason"; apparently even if THEY pull the bait-and-switch. I've been waiting weeks now and no refund nor reply. Hopefully TAYLOR will make this right. I'll keep everyone posted as the facts continue to develop... read more

I had some damage to my roof from a wind storm in Feb. 2019. I called THI to come out and quote an estimate for me. Nick and the rest of the reps were very professional, friendly, and courteous. The roofers showed up on time and finished in a single day. I would highly recommend THI for any home improvements that you may need. read more

Paul M provided a quote in March, 2020 to repair front porch roof - rain water was cascading off the front causing damage to the facia boards. Also repair rotting window sill and two other small items. We agreed to delay work until late summer due to pandemic. Many requests for start date, finally promised to start on Labor day, but then delayed several times until I contacted Steve Taylor. We agreed on work to take place last week of September. Wrong materials delivered, then several other delays (requiring me to complain again to Steve). Work finally completed in late October. After the first rain following the repairs, I noticed that rain water was cascading off the front just as before. I provided Paul with before and after videos and they were identical. He proposed that gutters be installed which were objectionable and not likely HOA approvable. I suggested a metal channel be installed with strong adhesive on top of the rubber membrane. Paul had doubts this would work. I said I would take the risk and not hold THI to the one year guarantee. Then Paul informs me via email that the contract was only for the repair of the damaged boards, not to correct the cascading rain water problem! Why would I ask THI to repair damaged boards, but not fix the root cause? ! Also, a window screen was damaged during the work. I was promised that is would be promptly repaired and returned. Three weeks have passed and there is no word when it will be returned to my home. Overall, poor communications, many delays, and work not performed per contract and many email communications. I feel this is a breach of the contract and that THI lacks honesty and integrity of their work! read more

Taylor home improvement "fixed" a roof leak less than a year ago (Dec. 2017). September 2018 after heavy rains it started leaking again in the exact same spot. I was able to get their sales consultant to come out and was told they would return that later week to complete a water test to determine the source of the leak. I didn't hear from him for 2 weeks despite calling and leaving messages and texting (he had been responsive to texts when originally contracted to fix the roof last year). Finally I called management and was given the run around. I called back every few days and got different responses each time. They were having personnel issues, their water test technician has family problems, they were dealing with lots of call backs, they had to talk to the employees who did the original repair, the contract had incorrect information regarding what was actually done. A month later the owner, Steve Taylor, called to say he was sending a technician out. I said I would meet him at noon. At noon Steve called back to say the technician came by early that morning and "fixed" the roof. He didn't have details beyond that but when I requested they still complete the water test to make sure he said they would only do that if it started leaking again. We haven't had a heavy rain since so more I'm forced to trust that it was "fixed". I can't believe I paid $1500 for this. read more
