Gave the shop a call at 3 PM and they told me to come on in and that they would look at it. Long story short, owner of shop, got to me right away and pinpointed my problem right away. Found a fuel issue and a water pump issue almost immediately. Staff very friendly and helpful. They worked at least two hours on my boat to solve my issues. Boat up and running and back on the lake the next day. Very reasonable, and seemed to have unlimited experience. He spared no expense in getting us back on the water. I would recommend him to anyone. I must say it was a bit unnerving purchasing such an expensive item without having an opportunity to do a first-hand examination. Yachts to Sea made this entire transaction not only easy, they made it enjoyable. From the very first day Jerry and Brandon and their wonderful staff were attentive, kind and extremely knowledgeable. The boat arrived in Seattle in perfect condition and was even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. During the past years we've had numerous questions, purchases, and adaptations we've wanted to make. My husband loves to customize his new toy. On each occasion they took the time to go over what we needed and would then explore our options. They gave us an answer immediately or got back to us once they checked with their parts and service staff. On several occasions they worked with the manufacturer to find great solutions. Each time I felt I was working with friends who really cared. ("Hi Helen. How's the family and how's that beautiful Chaparral.") Without a doubt Yachts to Sea is an absolutely excellent company and we give it the highest possible recommendation. This shop is very unprofessional and dishonest in the way they do business. They claim to be a…read morerepair shop that specializes in Seadoo repair and this is the reason I went to them. I unfortunately put my jet ski in the water and forgot to put the drain plugs back in, resulting in it taking on water. Once I realized something wasn't right the engine compartment was 1/3 full of water. I immediately took it out of the water and drained the vessel. Once it was drained I put the drain plugs in and put it in the water and tried to start it without success. So I took out of the water and left all the engine compartments open so it could dry out. I then took it to Metro East for repair. This is where the nightmare starts. They take two days to diagnose it, a total of four hours of labor. They come to the conclusion that the engine needs to be replaced at the cost of $3,600.00. So since it's a 2000 seadoo I decided to just do an insurance claim, the jet ski isn't worth that much. So my insurance company tells me to have them do an estimate and to break it down into parts and labor. Pretty straight forward if you ask me!! But they refused give me a copy and said that they would only send it to the insurance company. So by now we are trying to figure out a day and time for the 3rd party investigator to come out and look at the jet ski. This was next to impossible to work out a time with the repair shop. "Because it was locked inside of the garage" when in fact it sat outside uncovered the entire time it was at Metro East. So after several phone calls between myself and the receptionist who by the way is the shop owner's mother we finally were able to get something set up, the mother is not to be trusted with anything she says, she had the nerve to tell the investigator and myself when he asked me where the accident happened and I told home lake Carlyle that she always recommends lake Carlyle to her customers so they will tear up Their boat and have to bring it back to them for repair. So by the time it was all over with I got back a very dirty seadoo that had sat outside uncovered engine compartment and all, plus the spark plugs were missing and various wires unplugged and they received a check in the amount of $1,100.0" for an estimate fee and storage fees. Mind you they had the jet ski from 8/29/17 to 9/13/17 and that was mostly because they wouldn't send the proper paperwork to the insurance company. I told them I was going to give them a bad review and Randy the owner told me that he would sue me if I did. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING TO Anyone. AVOID It AT ALL COSTS, THEY ARE VERY SHADY AND DISHONEST!!!!
