They kept pressuring me to try to get me a Deep Cleaning which is not a normal procedure and I…read moreexplained I had a Deep Cleaning 2-3 years ago and it costs about $800 copay with good dental insurance. My father is a dentist and looked at the X-rays and explained that I needed one for buildup under the gum lines and this was several years ago, he also explained they are only necessary under certain circumstances and originally I fit that, again 2-3 years ago. I was 52 at the time and never needed one while my dad practicing until I was 45, this is NOT normally needed at all. Anyways I explained to them I'd do a regular cleaning and had to argue with them to get that. I go in and the hygienist says I was scheduled for a deep cleaning. I walked out never to return will get my cavities, root canal, and implant all scheduled to be done somewhere else. F*** them

The only reason she did what she did was for the money because she was looking out for a patient. here I am two years later, having to get a root canal and in a incredible amount of pain. It all could've been avoided if a root canal done in the first place. The dentist I have currently is telling me that she knew it was too close to the nerve and she should've told me to go see a specialist that could do the root canal. Do not recommend!
