It's lush and filled with woods. Golf here on a nice crisp October day if you can. The grounds were perfect - but not a big deal to me anyway. What I liked is the super friendly and accommodating staff. So you need to golf just 9, and need clubs, and have an extra cart rider? No reservation on a crowded day? No problem. And we'll give you a special rate for your rider. The 19th hole is a second floor sports bar with a view in all directions and a full restaurant. Oh yeah the course has some impossibly silly hard holes. I kind of remember a par 3 hole with 2 ravines between the tee and green. (Bring some extra balls) All around a great place. Today, He was playing With his buddies and I was two groups him. After finishing ninth going to 10th we noticed twosome in front of us going from 10th to 1st tee. When we got to tenth hole all of sudden there are 4 carts in the fairway hitting 2nd shot. Turned out he and his buddies playing 7some. Which is not correct nor mostly allowed If there are golfers behind you. When I questioned him about that, I was really shocked by his reply and he said we're not doing anything wrong. You can skip this hole and go play some other. Wow! He's director of golf, please listen his reply. Only a power trip or entitled person would reply like that. 2nd incident: Couple of weeks ago, he had one tee time booked for him and his buddies, one tee time, group of four people but he blocked 4 prior tee times so him and his buddy's can have 4 holes open ahead so they won't have any interruption while they are playing. A city owned golf Course lost revenue of 4 tee times green fees only due to his and his buddies convenience. Abuse of power and entitlement. Way to go. Please know, during the renovation I never once complained of inconvenience of going from skipping holes to holes to complete 9 holes because the renovation was being done for betterment of the course we all love. Never once I complained. They should have offered some green fees discounts due the inconvenience but I still never complained.

The primary reason for my 3-star rating is the overall experience. We booked an early tee time as a foursome, but were placed directly behind several threesomes participating in a league. This was not communicated to us at the time of booking, and had we known, we would have chosen a different time. During play, we eventually played through, which unfortunately led to unpleasant interactions with the other players, including being cursed at, followed by a ranger asking us to leave. Later, when I went into the clubhouse, management questioned why we skipped ahead. My explanation was that we had been waiting 7-10 minutes on each tee box. The response I received was that a 4.5-hour round is considered within pace of play--though in my opinion, that standard seems more fitting for a foursome, not for multiple threesomes ahead. Overall, while the course conditions were excellent, the lack of communication, poor handling of pace-of-play expectations, and unprofessional interactions overshadowed the positives. For these reasons, I would not return. At its current pricing, I don't believe the experience is worth $70--truthfully, not even $50.

I had the pleasure of checking out the Willow Park last weekend. We went to check out Muckfest, a…read more5k fundraiser for MS. Next year I'll sign up, it was so cool and they raised over 200k! The park was very big and beautiful. I am obsessed with disc golf and didn't know there was a course here, so I had to get a quick round in. There are 24 holes that aren't too difficult. It's a shorter course with a lot straighter and more forgiving fairways than most courses in the area. I really enjoyed myself. I'm already planning another trip to toss discs with friends. If you have your metro park pass entrance is included, but there's a $3 disc golf fee. Great park with a lot of space and a lot to do, come check it out

It's located not too far off from 94 and by 275. Not a far jog from home for us either. It was a nice for us and not a hot day for golfing. Its $16/pp for walking 9 holes or about $25/pp for a cart. Our foursome wanted to get in a walk. It's one of the nicer metro park courses I have been too in a while. The holes are pretty easy though. The course in general was quite open and there is not a lot of foliage or obstacles in the way. Allows for any kind of swing or slices.

Mickey's seems to be well maintained and the staff is always friendly. Prices are very reasonable and if you add the putting green to your experience, you can use the grass range! There are some covered areas but most of it is in the sun. I decided about a month ago that I was going to try to learn golf I took my first ever lesson from Steve. He was great! There was a great balance of stories, explanation and instruction. I wasn't even holding the club correctly, so he fixed that right away! What a difference! I will be back for practice and some more lessons!
