I own a business and we had a holiday party on Friday and was looking forward to using the 3 tables and 20 chairs we rented from you. I arrived early to the office as the delivery window was between 7:30-4:00pm (party starting early that evening). I waited all day long only to have them arrive around 4:30pm (pushing our time to the limit). Not only that but the guy left everything stacked in the front of the office. I would have assumed that he would have at least put the tables where we needed them - especially since he arrived late... I mean that's just good customer service (but hey, I do go above and beyond for my customers) I called to express my concern and poor experience with their rental company (which was disappointing as I know a few businesses that use them and some of my family as well). All I wanted was for them to acknowledge it and try to rectify the situation. A 10% refund would have been sufficient. What happened next shocked me: The man on the phone proceeded to yell and say "NO NO, YOU WANT A REFUND? I'LL SEND RICHIE BACK RIGHT NOW TO GET EVERYTHING AND WE WILL GIVE YOU A FULL REFUND". I was appalled. Never in my life have I had a business act so childish, especially when they were at fault of being late? Not only that, but I asked to have the manager call me back on Monday and he said that I would be better off calling him myself. As a business owner who has a lot of events coming up, you can be sure I won't be using Taylor Rental and I certainly will make sure my family and business acquaintances won't be either. Taylor Rental - Party Equipment Rentals Near Me - Haverhill, Massachusetts

I rented a Bobcat with a stump grinder attachment this past weekend. A big home project was well underway. Cost $375 for 1 day. I was able to pick it up before closing (4:30) on Saturday and return it first thing Monday morning. The Bobcat ran great, however I wish I was able to receive a bit more 1:1 instruction or get a number to call if I ran into problems. Luckily everything turned out fine. I got all 30 plus stumps ground up and I moved some big ass rocks out of the lawn. My lawn now looks like a war zone with big ruts and bombed out holes. I couldn't recommend Taylor Rental of Haverhill enough for any and all party rentals. I run a family-owned private preschool with two locations that holds three separate graduation events every spring for approximately 400 visitors. Our graduations takes place under tents that are 120' long by 30' feet wide with a full stage and seating for 200. In addition we also use a second tent 30' x 30' on our patio for food and beverages. Every year Taylor Rental of Haverhill very professionally supplies and builds all the tents and the stage, and they set up all the chairs meticulously according to our plan. They do a really great job, and we regularly receive compliments from our guests on the setup! We have been working with these guys for over six years. The staff starting with Rich and Shawn are always very knowledgeable and friendly. The guys who come out to install the tents have always been great too. In terms of equipment, the tent, tables, and chairs are always in excellent condition. Their customer service goes above and beyond expectation -- we have super specific needs about how and when the tents get put up and they always manage to accommodate our requests and communicate if they have any questions. We will certainly be using them again and highly recommend them for all your events. read more

Rented a bounce house for a kids party and the price stated online was bait and switch because when I called the lady who answered said that price was only for after 3pm. Also had to clean out the bounce house myself since there was candy in it and a straw and wrappers. These should really be cleaned out after each person. read more

They rented us a broken tea urn. We didn't realize it was broken until it was out the door and a staff member notified us at the last minute. When we returned it, the putty they had used to try to put it together broke off, and they charged us a penalty fee. When we said they shouldn't have rented us a broken urn and we can't be responsible if they didn't do a good job putting it together, they said "it wasn't their problem" and to "go rent somewhere else". read more

Before I review I want to say that we have used Taylor Rental before and were happy with the service (rental of tables and chairs for an outdoor birthday party). We have also had good experience with rental of tools/construction equipment. That having been said, our latest experience of renting a bounce house was less than pleasant overall. First, the bounce house is fairly expensive ($200) to rent. After doing some research (after the fact so shame on us) we found other rental places with price points around $100. Add $30 to the price to keep it for the weekend (when told that I didn't need it for the weekend the clerk insisted that if I was having it delivered they would NOT pick it up before closing on Saturdays therefore I was forced to keep it Sunday AND pay for it that day too!) THEN delivery fee to my house is a flat rate ( we live 1.2 miles from Taylor Rental while several friends like 2 and 3 towns over 15+ miles and we pay the same) $70. By the end of all of this it was almost $400 and there was no policy/discount or common decency when it comes to inclement weather. Try other moon bounce rentals -- delivery is included, they will pick up on weekends and their selection is just as good as Taylor Rental. In order for Party Plus to come up to speed with the competition they would have to have an "in town" delivery fee -- people don't want to be taken advantage of as well as pick up on weekends or if you are renting for a Saturday you shouldn't have to pay the weekend fee especially since they are already over priced. read more

They brought the tent, chairs, tables and dance floor two days early so it was perfect for decorating and getting everything ready, but the chairs were not clean at all , the tent was filthy and I recommend never getting a dance floor if you plan on doing a wedding outside, it was not polished as promised and it came apart, plus it's very expensive , read more

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PLACE TO DO BUSINESS. I had a horrid experience and would never use them again. Shaun sales associate was rude and would not upgrade me for free after THEIR EQUIPMENT BROKE 30 minutes into the job. I had to fight and scream in order to get upgrade and tried to contact owner but he was nowhere to be found. The second piece of equipment got a flat 2 hours into job (and it was only 1pm) and Mechanic Andy accused my worker of BREAKING HIS EQUIPMENT. I was appalled at his remark! Very unprofessional atmosphere and hostile to deal with all employees involved in my rental process. read more
