We were blindsided by bills every visit, but the last visit was especially hard because of financial issues and when I called to ask questions, they were rude, argumentative, and tried to say they told us about the charges beforehand. If I say I was not told, then I was not told, telling me I must have forgotten or repeatedly saying I was told does not do anything besides make me more angry about the situation. They aren't willing to discuss and negotiate ANYTHING, they just refused to work with us at all on anything. They have been pushy and stressed extreme urgency with almost everything related to my daughter's care despite 4-5 other dentists saying they've never heard of a dentist doing this that or the other before, but everybody here thinks they're the best. My own experiences prior to this differed so much that I just figured pediatric dental care must have to follow different standards of care, policies, procedures that I've never heard of before and that aren't listed anywhere with the pediatric dental associations I've talked with (state and national). The young lady (I believe her name was Kam) at the front desk was by herself checking people in and out and even though it was very busy she was serving each person with the biggest smile and the most heartfelt personality. If she was overwhelmed you never would have known. She welcomed us in and answered every question we had with ease and made us feel very taken care of & help our children feel comfortable and even explained in a way they understood what they were getting done. She was the highlight of our experience at the dentist!! Thank you to her and everyone else that was working that day that made our experience amazing!

He told them Medicare. If doctors actually cared the first question would be what kind of problem are you experiencing? But, no, it's "what insurance do you have"? Then they asked which doctor he wanted to see. He told them one of the men I forget which one. They then told him that, sorry, only one of our doctors is accepting Medicare. Oh, that's brilliant. Why doesn't it say that on the list of insurance that you accept? Next to Medicare it should say Dr. So and so only. The rest are more concerned about their money than actually helping you which is why they don't accept Medicare because that cuts into their paycheck. Well, Medicare is all he has. He's disabled and on disability. Like millions of other people who worked all their lives this is all he has now and this place won't give him the time of day. Then they asked which medication he's already taking. He told them. They placed him on hold and came back and told him that due to the fact that he's already taking controlled substances they can't accept him as a patient. What!?! These "controlled substances" he's already taking are prescriptions from another doctor and have nothing to do with this place. He was looking for a family doctor to help him with everything else, like when he's sick, not the medicine he is already getting elsewhere for other reasons. Any medicine prescribed by a doctor is a controlled substance. That's why you have to go to a doctor to get it. So if you're seeing a separate doctor for specialized reasons but still need a family doctor for basic reasons don't bother with these money-hungry jerks. This is absolutely outrageous. None of these charlatans should be allowed to call themselves doctors. All they care about is their money, not you. If you're poor, don't have good insurance or any insurance, disabled, on Medicare, already getting medicine from another doctor, etc, don't even bother calling this place. All they care about is their money. They don't care if you die.

Anyway I guess I should have looked harder for a dentist but I was kind of on a time crunch. So they knew they didn't take my insurance and the quoted me like 400 bucks. So they did X-rays before the cleaning. I have some dental issues which I'm pretty self conscious about. Dr. Motts saw my X-rays and came in the little room I was in and started talking loud ,.or he seemed pretty loud to me , saying I was missing a bunch of teeth. I mean does he think I'm not aware of my dental situation ? Or did he believe everyone needed to hear about my problems? I don't know why he was so mean to me. We told him we were interested in getting a partial. He say more than once that a partial was 1500 bucks at his office. Again I don't know why that was necessary I just know I was embarrassed and I felt ashamed of missing teeth. Now I don't know if he's that way to everyone or he just didn't like me. I decided to skip the cleaning and we paid for the X-rays and left. The X-rays themselves were 400 bucks so thank God I skipped the cleaning or I would have had to pay twice what I expected to. I would rather pay 2000 for a partial than go back to this dentist. I remember how people made me feel and he didn't make me feel good at all. I hope he's not like that with all his patients and I guess he's not or he would have failed years ago.

I would give 0 stars if possible!! My father in law went in for a spinal cord stimulator procedure…read morein mid August 2020. We looked at the brochure and it looked like a vacation brochure. I was concerned, but I've known people that have had this procedure without problems. Overall, It was sold as a simple procedure to alleviate his chronic back pain & it can be, UNLESS something goes wrong! The doctor that was performing the set up for the trial procedure ended up puncturing the dura mater, which allowed his spinal cord to fill with blood, which led to blood on the brain and a comatose patient. They - Red River Surgery Center (Shreveport LA) allowed him to sit in the recovery room for over an hour After they said he should be awake! Finally about three hours into the ordeal the doctor came back and they transported him to LSU. Long story short, he never regained consciousness and died on Saturday September 17, 2020! I'm am only writing this in hopes that someone else doesn't endure the loss and pain we've been through. Check the doctor's credentials and find out everything you can before undergoing this procedure. Do Not just take their word for it!

Needed a CT scan and the equipment was broken. I waited (while fasting) while they figured out what they could do. Turns out- nothing. They ultimately had to reschedule. So fasting AGAIN 6 days later. This time the equipment was working. The wait in the lobby was 15 minutes past my schedule time. The tech was friendly, efficient and I was walking out 15 minutes later. I guess I recommend. But honestly, no body wants to have to see the folks here. Stay healthy my friends, and avoid the need to visit these folks.
