He began at 9 am on Sunday morning and thoroughly inspected the outside of the house in pouring rain. He even got up on the roof and checked the tiles and the chimney despite the treacherous conditions. Then, he moved inside and spent hours meticulously inspecting every inch of the house including entering narrow and low crawl spaces and attic entrances. He documented everything he found in detail and explained significant findings along the way. As a result of this inspection, I feel I now have a good understanding of what needs to be done to renovate the house. Stephen Johnson is a first class inspector who takes pride in his job and his customers are fortunate to benefit from his extensive experience, friendly demeanor, and strong work ethic.

About a month after we moved into the home 3 years ago, we found mold under the home. When we called Inspector gator, they said that it was possible that the mold wasn't there a month ago (unlikely since the mold was visible and had been there a long time). The Inspector also noted, after the fact, that he was not able to access the underside of the home because the crawl space was too small. He did not mention that he did not check under the home when he was de-briefing us. He also said, while we were talking in person, that there were no substantial issues to note, but buried in his 60 page report, he noted several issues. There were a number of issues that we found in the months after closing (leaking gas, failing septic, incorrectly routed sewage, etc.) Buying a home is a substantial purchase and buying a lemon is a substantial burden on the home owners. DO RISK IT! NEVER USE OR TRUST THESE FOLKS!

They were there 12 hours that day. There's no way they didn't see it. They had to come back and fix it the next day. They removed the gutter screens and left several of them thrown on the ground at the back of the house. I'm still finding roofing nails in my yard, and on my driveway. After they finished our Direct TV wasn't working and we couldn't fix it from the trouble shooting menu. We thought maybe it just needed to be recalibrated. Direct TV sent a service rep. Come to find out when they moved the satellite dish to do that part of the roof they bent it. Instead of saying anything they just put it back where it was . Called the business answering service days ago, no response.
