We are traveling and rely heavily on critiques from Yelp. If you find yourself in this area you owe it to yourself to stop in. We were there when they opened at 11:00. At noon we were back on the road. I had shrimp with a baked potato and fried squash. Squash was delicious, fresh not frozen. Shrimp were cooked perfectly sand cocktail aside was amazing. My husband had catfish & shrimp, he said it was delicious. The hush puppies were great, a lot of places fail on hush puppies. His slaw was good and he couldn't eat all his fries. no room for dessert, they had banana pudding, butterfinger pie, & possum pie. Might just have to stop here on the way back through. read more

I haven't been back since there was a dead animal in the wall and they openly told me that there was rat, stuck in the wall, dead. And even if we wanted to escape and eat outside, the smell from the sewer is always so overwhelming and repulsive. I thought about going back until my aunt went in with her service dog, that they were rude about from the start. The owners grandchildren would not leave her sweet dog alone and she barked once and they kicked them all out immediately!! The children and owners were asked not to approach the dog. On top of that they tried billing them for the food they never got to eat, as they were kicking them out. I live close and enjoy karaoke nights but I won't be going back. I've had many more issues with them. And their problems have nothing to do with COVID, they never wore masks and had zero care for customers! read more

The food was quick and service was excellent. Good small town feel and a quick stop during a cross-country drive. The food was ok, but nothing life changing. Had the club which was please to have real turkey and real ham. Fries were delicious but my wife's salad was underwhelming. All in all a good place to stop. read more

A year ago I gave Taylor's Made 5 stars but now only 1. Yes the food is good, but the service!!! they told me it would be 25 min on a carry out order but it turned out to be 1 hour. We waited an additional 35 min for our order sitting at a table without even a drink, they don't care about the customers, When I politely complained on FB they blocked me, ha ha block me now lol. read more

We stopped in for an early supper/late lunch. Service was wonderful and friendly Tea was sweet, but not sticky syruppy. Catfish, okra, fried squash, and Country Fried Steak, corn, and potatoes. All excellent and served VERY hot--the way we like it. Breading on fried items was light and thin, so the food could actually be tasted. Catfish was delicate. I saw a review on here talking about the small seating and how they had to sit at a table for six because there were no clean tables but one thing you MUST understand is that they can not have you a clean table in 2 seconds. This review also complained about their corn and how it was clearly canned and not a good brand the thing that bothers me about that is of course its canned corn deal with it they don't have their own grown corn and don't get me started on the okra and how they said it had so seasoning WHO PUTS SEASONING ON OKRA? YOU DID NOT ASK FOR THAT MAYBE IF YOU ASKED THEY WOULD SIMPLE. they also made a point of there being a small bar WELL MAYBE IF YOU PAID ATTENTION TO WHERE THE BUILDING WAS LOCATED YOU WOULD SEE THAT THERE REALLY IS NOT ENOUGH ROOM FOR A BIG BUILDING. what I am trying to say is that they are trying their best okay? I love this place I went there for my birthday and I always get the same thing. but I can tell you right now that if you even think for a second that this place is underachieving to YOUR standards please get a check and leave. sorry if this came off as rude but this is a great place. I also noticed they talked about live music and how they had to shout to their waitress because it was too loud but I can tell you right now that is very much not correct because not only could I hear our waitress speak and everyone else could hear us too. they also complained about the restrooms being in the dining area well guess what? here's a bright idea, sit somewhere else, or are you going to complain about that too? thank you. was not trying to come off as that rude. yes I am aware people can have their opinions but if you take time out of your day to complain about a restaurant that is totally fine that is a problem seriously don't you have a job or something? Stopped here on way to Airport back to Chicago. Absolutely loved the homemade pork-rinds and fried squash. The chicken fried steak, green beans and mash potatoes were superb. Has a bar area. Don't let the outside fool you. Inside is updated and has a rustic look-nice hardwood floors and clean bathrooms. The service was over the top good! read more

Have been coming here since day one and for good reason. This place is what a cafe should be. The food is exceptionally good, their onion rings are the best I've ever had. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have a bar area that will soon be open. They have daily special that range from fish and shrimp (awesome by the way) on Friday and a big ribeye on Thursday (another mouth watering dish). Give it a try you won't be disappointed. read more

Delish chef prepared food. A gem accentially found on a Sunday night after visiting friends. We, there were 6 of us, highly recommend finding your way there as well. We had the blackened salmon that was cooked to perfection and their specialty, chicken fried chicken. The mixed vegetables with squash wee also seasoned beautifully. Absolutely love it here. Live music on the back deck and great food (best ranch dressing and fries). It was great to see the owner walking around making sure everyone was taken care of. When we got there it was nice and then started raining. When the rain stopped the owner and employees were top notch at getting the deck tables cleaned off of water and ready for the patrons. Taylor's made is like our own hidden slice of heaven. We love to come and listen to the bands play in the patio and inside if weather permits. The food is great also. Me and my husband ate at this establishment yesterday at first we didn't know if we wanted to eat here we saying about 3-4 motorcycles out front but we decided to eat here anyway. When we walked it everything got quiet, and I immediately wanted to walk out and go eat somewhere else, we waited about 15 to 20 seconds and our server came out and told us we could sit wherever we liked, we sat at a table in the back that had crumbs on it. Over server was very friendly and she immediately brought us drinks and gave us time to look at the menu our food came out fairly quick I ordered the BLT and my husband had the chili dogs I think he was a little disappointed because it was two hot dogs instead of one long hot dog and he said that he really didn't like the way it was cooked. The prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere was a little drab. I doubt we will eat there again but my food was good. read more

The owner came and talked to us personally, the entertainment came around and talked to everybody after their act, the place was PACKED but the service was still good, and the food-oh my goodness!!-delicious!! My step dad was a truck driver and had burgers from all over and he said the burger he got was one of the best he ever had! My husband got the mushroom Swiss burger-perfection! I got the mesquite grilled chicken sandwich-so much flavor!! We got the fried pickles and onion rings, the batter was delicious! Anything you get I'm sure will be great!! Just left what used to be one of my favorite spots,never again. Took my staff as I have many times before but not again ever. First time for one of them and as we walked out he said it was his last. We had been there awhile and three of us ordered another jack and coke. When mine came back it was at best a lite poor but mostly just coke. I took one sip and saw it was lite, stirred it took another and it was the same. Told the waitress and she said she would check and left, came back and told me I was wrong and it was the same and fine! I told her try it I wasn't wanting to argue but it was not. She again without touching it said I was wrong! I told her she could take it back. The proper thing was to say I'm sorry let me fix it but no an attitude was given. She asked if I wanted a beer or water, no I didn't. I told her she had mishandled the situation and she again told me I was wrong about the drink! I asked for the check and asked her if management was aware I was an unhappy customer and she said no, I told her to let him know. The owner came and again told me the bartender used a jigger and I was wrong and but he would speak to them. We have been regulars since opening and have never been treated so badly. It was a very sparse crowd and with those attitudes I can see why. No one in my party plans on returning. read more

Food was OK. The burger was delicious but there was a hair in my friends mashed potatoes. Nobody wears a hair net or have their hair tied up. It doesn't surprise me. I would recommend it but look at your food before you eat it! read more
