Second was understanding the problem. Third was the speediness of potential diagnosis. Fourth was the speediness of the potential fix. Fifth was the free diagnosis. Even then, we weren't fully sure the problem was fixed, but the way the matter was handled gave me reassurance that I could easily see myself coming back here if it wasn't totally fixed. I have a 2005 Subaru Forester and the issue I've had is probably just because it's an older car, so I'd believe there isn't a one size fits all solution, since there's just been a bit of wear and tear that makes it more uncertain on the culprit. I found it interesting that Miguel was so comfortable stating I could either bring it in or tell another company what they could do to fix the issue - to me, that says he's fine without another customer, but that he's worthy of having a check out - says that he's fully transparent and I really appreciate that. Super nice dude with a basic place (no frills), gets straight to the point, and exudes trustworthiness and knowledge. Unlike many shops, including any of the big chain/corporate shops, Ron and his staff aren't just looking at padding the bottom line. They'll tell you what they recommend replacing/fixing now only if it really needs to be replaced/fixed now. If something still looks good, they'll tell you that, and tell you if they think that you may need to have it replaced at some point down the line. If your front breaks are still at 60% but your back brakes are in dire need of replacement, they'll tell you that, and recommend only replacing the rear brakes because you still have plenty on your front. Another great thing about Ron's is they'll even show you what or why they need to do something before they do it if you're waiting on site or otherwise just want to see it, just to show you that everything truly is, on the up and up. Ron's is the first place I recommend anytime one of my friends tell me they are having car issues. Those who do take their cars to him, will often thank me because the quality of service they received was excellent, and the prices were much lower than they were expecting.
