We went back tonight and we were very pleased. The service was great, the food was back to what we had expected, I'm not sure if they had a bad night the last time we visited or if it was a major problem. I do know that they seem to have turned the ship around and I am pleased to say, I will recommend the restaurant and we will be back.

Food tastes mediocre no different from little Dooyes or anywhere else--nothing special, just easy. If you call before the kitchen closes, they won't make your order-- crazy. What's the point of having a kitchen closing time that's 1 hours before normal closing if you stop taking orders before that closing time? Should the kitchen closing be 20 minutes rosier maybe? How about 1 hour earlier? Again, either bad management or lazy staff not sure which one. If the establishment is too poorly run to take an order before kitchen closes, imagine what the back of house looks like... Imagine the staff cleanliness while cooking... Wont be ordering from here anymore. Try Little Dooeys. It's like 2 minutes down the road, never had an issue with them.

Later tried to cancel with the man and he said it was broken when I got my Kroger bill. They had billed me $55 for gas and one of his friends/customers had come up and stolen the $55. And filled up at my expense. Kroger's gas will cheat you.

Over the past three months, I have consistently experienced problems that make shopping here frustrating and unsatisfactory. * Pickup delays: On multiple occasions, my scheduled pickup orders have not been ready until the following day. This is a problem because I live an hour away! It is frustrating to make it half way to the store only to receive an automated text stating my order will not be ready until the next day! Gas is not cheap, and I am a poor teacher. I mean seriously, just turn off the pickup times once you reach your limit for that time slot! * Missing items: Once, I drove all the way home only to discover that 20 items were missing from my order. No one offered an apology or resolution beyond a simple refund. Yet again, I live an hour away. Customer service suggested "Oh it's sitting right here. Just come back and get it." They truly acted as if it were my fault that the items were left out and I was inconveniencing them. (My bad. I guess I should have counted each individual item as we loaded them into my trunk-yes. WE. I always get out and help! * Poor product quality: The fresh produce I receive is often moldy or spoiled, which is unacceptable. Not once. Not twice. But every single time I order strawberries they are covered in fuzzy mold. * Customer service: The pickup employees are frequently rude and unhelpful, which only adds to the frustration. I have been a loyal Kroger customer because of the convenience and quality I've come to expect. Unfortunately, this location is falling far below that standard. I am asking that Kroger address these issues promptly and take steps to improve the pickup service, product quality, and customer service at the Starkville store. I hope to continue shopping with Kroger, but unless these problems are resolved, I will be forced to take my business elsewhere.

While the exterior might appear somewhat modest, stepping inside reveals an extraordinary venue that is simply marvelous in every respect. Their bar program is remarkable, boasting a splendid selection of fine wines and premium spirits. Upon arrival, I was greeted with immense warmth and charm by Kelly, who provided initial priority and ensured I was seated in a delightfully private area. Her hospitality throughout the evening was exceptionally gracious and attentive. To begin, I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita, which arrived with impressive speed brilliantly crafted, balanced, and thoroughly refreshing. For my evening selection, I chose the Crawfish Pimento Cheese Dip served with crisp dry bread. It was an absolute culinary masterpiece! The flavor profile was rich, exquisitely seasoned, and completely addictive a total success in every bite. Harveys offers an unbeatable combination of top-tier service, a pristine atmosphere, and divine, memorable flavors. Five stars, without hesitation I shall most certainly be returning!

It was pretty crowded as expected on a weekend so I decided to just sit at the bar. The place itself was clean, nice, and obviously well kept. Some of the other reviews are what sparked my interest, and I can honestly say that I'm glad I showed up. I told the bartender it was my first time in and told her I was looking for a steak. The one she suggested had a small sweet marinade to it. I'm not really a sweet steak guy but I went with it.... and man was it really good. Cooked to perfection (medium rare) and tasted super fresh. The Mac and cheese was also solid, as was the sweet tea. Now... the chicken noodle soup: I loved it. Big soup here and although this soup was not "brothy" at all, it was thick and creamy, so good. Overall, I can't wait to go back to Starkville if it's on the schedule next spring because if it is, I know where I'll be returning for a meal.

Though the venue is intimate in size, the decor is delightfully charming, creating a wonderfully authentic and inviting atmosphere. I was seated in a cozy, private section that offered the perfect setting for a quiet, relaxed luncheon. The ambiance and overall vibe were simply marvelous. The service was top-tier from start to finish attentive, remarkably gracious, and warm. To accompany my meal, I ordered a classic, crisp Coca-Cola served ice-cold. For my course, I selected the fried catfish accompanied by fries. When the platter arrived, it was an absolute triumph! The catfish was cooked to flawless perfectio crisp, tender, extraordinarily fresh, and seasoned with real mastery. It made for a deeply comforting and completely satisfying meal that exceeded every expectation. Between the pristine preparation, charming atmosphere, and flawless hospitality, The Little Dooey earns absolute full marks from me.
