As they said they could make a next day delivery, I accepted their price estimate. The delivery time was set between 9 and 11. Today I received a call at 9:30 giving me a half hour notice that they would be arriving soon. I arrived, check in hand at 9:55 and met their driver who arrived at the same time I did. I showed him where to make the dump and he backed up right where I wanted the sand dumped. I asked for a receipt and he wrote one up by hand. The sand is good quality and is just great for what I need. They charge a fee for using a credit card or Venmo so I brought a check based on the price quoted the prior day. I'd use them again although I didn't take the time to price shop this service which I might do next time.

We contracted with Robert / S&R Concrete Design after doing reference calls and site visits with…read morehis prior customers -- and being completely blown away by their amazing work. Robert spent 2 hrs with us on our consultation, understanding the unique issue with our driveway's french drain, walking the property, answering our many questions, showing us designs/cuts, etc. French drains require highly technical skills and experience, and Robert has it all. Previous contractors have said "it's fine", but Robert knew the exact issue, even tested it with pouring water to demonstrate it, and very carefully explained to us the proposed solution. They showed up on time to fix the drain and prep the driveway, and he came with a big crew so it was done very quickly. They quickly solved any problems that came up (like when we found old sprinkler pipes that I didn't know about under the driveway). When Robert was fixing the drain, he would show us what he was doing and explain it, using his leveler to make sure that everything was precise and perfect. It was all consistent with the plan we discussed at the consult. On the day of pouring, they showed up early and as soon as the concrete truck arrived, they jumped into action. We watched the entire time and these guys made it look so easy -- they are that good! Again, Robert was out there directing his team to make sure not a spot was missed, using his leveler to check everything, etc. They cleaned up the job site very well and it was all such a smooth process. Their work was impeccable, Robert is a great person and has the right experience, and we knew we could trust him to get the job done.

She was able to give me a rough estimate of what I would need, and when they got here, the service was even better. The technician didn't leave until I was completely satisfied, and even pointed out a couple of stains I hadn't seen. The best part was, they came back when I called to touch up a couple spots free of charge. I will use B&R Chem-Dry always.
