I call and spend over a hour but the agent can't find the account even though I had the account number and I have a receipt from when I closed the account. She said it was because it was closed 9 months ago. That seems outrageous to me since it's not even a year. So she tells me to email customer service which I did and I kept getting a Gmail bounce back error message. So then I painfully call back the customer service number again hold forever and then get somebody and they keep telling me to email the address that doesn't work for me. They keep telling me it works for everybody else but me. I keep asking why they think that might be since I email everybody else just fine and they couldn't answer. And every time she puts me on hold to try to get more information it's like 10 minutes and she comes back and tells me almost the same thing again and again. Then they want to send another form to the same address which is forwarded to me, which will take weeks since it moves pretty slowly with forwarding. Then I asked him to send it to my new temporary address because I had a house fire and they can't do that unless I validate that I had a house fire. The best part of all this is I pulled out all the money all I'm trying to get is the tax record. It's not like I could do anything else. And yet I wasted hours on this. I don't have this bank and boy am I glad. I suggest nobody else use this bank as well.

This Citizens replaced the old Citizens in the old Giant on Springfield Road, in the shopping center. They moved on December 6, 2019. The new Giant is huge. No sign awaits you when you reach the Giant. There is no street sign directing potential customers to the new Giant. Thats probably why the parking lot is not full, because people do not know about this new Location. Royal Farms greets you when you start to make the drop down to the new Giant. There is also a LA Fitness right next to the new Giant. LA Fitness is advertised on a sign when you drive down the road. When my mom and I arrived at the new Giant, I showed Mom the new Citizens. We recognized the teller as someone who had assisted us in Havertown, Pa . She was glad to see us and she asked about our holidays. The hours are the same, just like in Havertown. Mon-Friday, 10am -7 Pm, and Saturdays, 10am -3Pm. The downside of it is that they only have one teller and the other person is there for anyone wishing to speak to someone in private because perhaps they wish to hear about loans, money markets, or CD's. They can also assist with opening a savings or checking account.

I went back into the bank to ask if there was a maintenance person I could leave my contact info with for the next time the sewer was cleaned out, but instead I was told that there was a teller who could probably fish out my fob (a young man who had been working at the drive-through window)! I had to leave for an appointment, but I returned an hour later and was handed my key fob. EVERY employee present went above and beyond excellent customer service and courtesy. The young lady who had originally waited on me even looked up my phone number to call me to say they had retrieved the fob. Not only did the male teller get a broom handle and attach a hook to it, but the branch manager helped as well by then attaching a fork to it! I am really amazed and thankful how these people helped me with something that had nothing to do with their jobs. I really hope that Karma exists, because they will all have a lot of good things coming their way.

They sent me a letter stating that there wasn't any activity and it I needed to do something to activate the account. I went into the bank to close the account, they told me if I had a credit card and used it, and they had a great deal going on, then my checking account would be ok. 2 months after opening the credit card, the bank closed my checking account and sent my money to the state of PA. So the person in the bank told me a lie, and now Ihave to go to the state to reclaim my money. PNC sucks, they didn't apoplogize, and didn't do anything to help.
