TD in Wall, NJ. The branch manager doesn't have the professionalism or common courtesy to respond. I went in-person and an employee emailed the manager regarding my question, as he wasn't in at that time. 2 weeks later, no response. I called and left a voicemail, no response. I sent a message via my online account. They "escalated" me. Which to them I guess only means more delays. I gave up and closed my account. read more

Besides him many times I've driven up to the window and needed to hit the call button at least 3 times to have someone do their job and wait on me. Worst bank I've ever encountered. Incompetent employees who don't even know what their employers current CD rates are. When I went in to renew my CD, I was told an incorrect rate by the bank manager, I told her she was wrong, to look at her employers website, to which she corrected herself. But why does a customer have to be put in the position of correcting incompetent employees. PNC should invest some time in training, wtf, is happening to this country. Is this the new normal, or what? Needless to say, I closed my account, shame on you PNC, I'll do business elsewhere. Shame on you td bank. Speaking of the app only, shame on you for forcing individuals to purchase a 16.0 phone to access accounts. Being able to do so the day before and all of a sudden not be able to is so wrong. As a longtime customer, the app needs to change. read more

Firstly, this is a woke bank meaning they don't hire anyone on merit, but if you have the "attitude" they're looking for, you get the job even if you can't spell or do basic math. First of all the bank is filthy. Dirty windows and trash all over the outside. I put 7k in my account to cover a dental procedure. When I tried to pay with my card it was declined several times. I called and apparently you can't use more than a thousand dollars of your own money. It took over 20 minutes on the phone to get this done. The next day I tried to use my debit card and it was blocked. Took another phone call to get my card activated. All of it a waste of my time for no good reason. Yesterday I asked for water because something was blocking my windshield. The male teller told me they have no water. This is a woke bank with woke attitudes. Poor management and terrible workers. Looking for a clean and courteous bank that treats their customers with respect. read more

So frustrating! I went on vacation to Canada, and informed the bank via phone that I would be traveling and taking my ATM Card with me. I get to Canada, try to use 2different ATM's at a TD Bank in Canada; screen says "Sorry, we cannot complete your transaction at this time"! I go inside the bank, the teller says to call the phone # on the back of my card. I do, and after an incredibly long recording, I'm put through to a person (yea). I explain the situation ; she says my acct has been "locked", with no explanation! She tells me to get a bank mngr. to call, which I do (though the mngr was busy and was not pleased to be pulled away from her computer). The bank mngr gets the same looooong recording, Finally gets through to a live person, who tells the mngr to check my card & photo ID. She does, and is then transferred to another Dept! That Dept is a "retail Dept", with a loooong recording, which then hangs up on the bank mngr who has been trying to help me! After 25 min of this, I thanked the bank mngr, and left. The TD ATM Card was the only ATM card I brought with me, so my vacation was ruined! I couldn't get cash for anything. Terrible customer service! read more

They need to shut this branch down and get rid of the whole staff. I can write a book, the branch closes at 3, I pull up at 315, the Atm is out of service, I say to the teller can I come in to take out money SHE says no. Now, my plight is, they still had the outside doors open, so why leave them open if you're closed and the lobby Atm doesn't work. On multiple occasions this location failed. Needs new management I've worked in banking for 20 yrs and have NEVER dealt with such cappy service. What a disgrace. Seems like a bunch of teenagers running this branch, unfortunately. read more

This branch is terrible I can here 2 days ago because there was a bank error they never fixed it after saying they would now I am waiting here after letting them know they never fixed it and every one disappeared there is no one on the floor and no one will even look at me. I needed to run into this branch, against my better judgement and once again the waiting. There were three people ahead of me and one teller and another on the phone with her elbows on the counter, very unprofessional. Once I got to the counter, I explained what I needed, transfer to one account to another. She did not understand me at all. How much more clear can I get. I had all of the information. Other representatives came and went and no one helped . This branch needs to be shut down or a complete over haul! Never ever again will I go to this branch.. I have banked at TD/Commerce for over 20 years and the staff at this bank are terrible. They act more like a group of friends than they do business professionals. The customer service from start to finish was abysmal. Even the employee who claimed to be management was immature and uneducated in banking procedures. I will be sure never to visit this branch again. read more

WWorst branch ever. Been a long-time customer with many many accounts. It was my first time getting a bounced check fee and was told they could not reverse the $35 charge. If you need help. Do not go to this branch. No wonder they only have one star. They don't even deserve that! I went to the branch in West Long Branch and explained my situation and they got the charges reversed. No problem. No song and dance. Just courteous and understanding response. Now that's exceptional customer service! Go West Long Branch branch. read more
