It's been a crazy process, and today when going into the Somers Point location we were holding our breath. No one likes to have to do this stuff, and the experience with someone over the phone and through email with the Estate department was less than satisfactory. However, today we could not have been more impressed with the level of service we were provided. Reina (I hope I spelled that correctly) was just fabulous. And her manager was so accommodating. Do we have to go back? Yes, but at least we aren't dreading it, and are actually looking forward to seeing them again. Thank you so much for helping us through an incredibly difficult process!

I do not have an account (yet) at this bank, but, I went into the bank to ask if there was an ATM inside the bank, because I did see an ATM, enclosed next to the bank. The very professional and thoughtful and helpful Security Guard explained that there was no ATM in the branch, but there was that ATM which you would enter from the street. I explained why I was asking, told the guard what had just happened, and he offered to walk me to that ATM. I said ok and THANK YOU. He let another bank employee know that he was walking me to the ATM. They said fine. Once I was inside the locked area with the ATM, The Security Guard asked if I was ok, and he was going back to the branch, if I felt ok. I said yes, and thanked him again. NOW, THIS WAS THOUGHTFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. SMART CUSTOMER SERVICE. VERY HELPFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. IMPRESSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE, THANKS TO THIS SECURITY GUARD. Byrne Agency as they've proven again that they don't just "sell" insurance, but truly value and develop relationships with their clients. I've used the J. Byrne agency for about 5 years now and have always been impressed with their commercial expert Jim Ridgeway and his incredible knowledge and passion for helping clients. This past week is a prime example why I advocate for the J. Byrne agency. I had an incident settling a property claim from wind and storm damage. There was an exclusion buried 60 pages into the policy that the underwriting company, NOT my agent, slipped in on one of the renewals. This would have cost me $12,000+ with most other agencies as I signed the paperwork and they could have simply stated "that's the way it is". Not with J. Byrne! Jim and his assistant Eileen Baker agreed that this was unfair and unclear and the FOUGHT the underwriting company for me. They kept me informed along the way and demonstrated their company's commitment to excellence in customer service by successfully having the clause removed and saving me, the consumer, an additional $12,000 in deductibles that could have been imposed. I spoke with another agent about the incident and he informed me that I had about 0% chance of successfully addressing this issue. Well the J. Byrne Agency proved them wrong...
