First, we are 'client' so he was acting completely outside the authority of the agency capacity. I am still not clear if he understands his error, or if his is just unprofessional as he has been completely unresponsive to all emails and phone call. He is completely unresponsive to the rental client. We requested Coldwell Banker Agency to rectify the unauthorized communication to the rental client and manage the consequences created outside the agency agreement. They claimed that it was a former employee, so they were not at fault. It seems there is a lack of grasp on their role as 'agents' and a lack of accountability. We would not recommend Edward or the Coldwell Banker James C Otton Real Estate Agency to handle any transaction. We are speaking with our capital, and will not do business with this agency in the future.
