I had Internet service in Colorado, FWIW. (Not sure why I can't find any of their locations…read moresearching Yelp from the Detroit area.) I had a protracted conversation with the salesman who came to my door, who assured me at least 4 or 5 separate times that none of the equipment Quantum was giving me ever needed to be returned. I asked so many times because I didn't believe him when he said nothing had to be returned, under any circumstances. Lo and behold, when I ended my service months later, I started getting emails from Quantum about having to return their "pods". Customer service simply told me that the salesman was lying to me. So, I'll have to return the pods when I can, but in my situation, not having planned for that, that will take a few months. They'll ding me with a $200 charge for the equipment, which I can eventually get back when I return the equipment, but I'm frustrated that they weren't more forthcoming about things. They provided decent internet, but I probably wouldn't go with their service again.

I promise you will not get the speed you are paying for from Quantum. I promise there will be many multiple day outages. !!!!!!!!!!! I promise that your bill will not be adjusted or corrected for no service. I promise you will REGRET selecting Quantum for internet service. I promise customer service will be inferior to your lowest expectations. It does not get worse than this for an internet company. I am in Orlando and luckily I was able to fire Quantum and move to Spectrum which has been a pleasure in comparison. I read hundreds of reviews on Yelp, after the fact, that mirrors the exact experience I endured. DO NOT SELECT QUANTUM IF YOU VALUE ACTUALLY HAVING USEABLE INTERNET.

Then when we notified the company RONALD TROYER (RONALD.TROYER@TDSTELECOM.COM) calls me from a cell phone (603) 524-6761 is extremely rude, refused to give me his managers information and hung up on me. Then sales calls trying to offer me a $50 credit for breaking the HDMI port! Seriously? I want to file a formal complaint against Ronald TROYER!! I do want to say the sales rep who called me after was pleasant and she's going to request his supervisors information. I'm hoping to receive it this week. I wish I would've known about all the better business bureau complaints before going with the company! Day one of service and it's already a nightmare!
