From the vidhi (an added request to which Pavan and team happily obliged) to the reception, MLE provided amazing music that was enjoyable from beginning to end. MLE used professional, high-quality equipment unlike what we have seen from other vendors at past events. The playlist during the vidhi was great. They played "dance-able" songs and garba during the walk around the neighborhood (varadh). Everyone loved it! The music during the garba was great. It felt as if there was a live music group performing the songs. The pace of the music flowed really well - there was not that feeling of slow to fast then back to slow as a new track started up again. The live dholi definitely helped make the night feel authentic. Numerous guests mentioned that the evening felt like it was a proper wedding garba and a large part of that was due to the music setup. The garba ran a little over time but Pavan still made sure to incorporate our sanedo and bhai/bhai song requests to end the evening. The music during the baraat was on point, they had everyone dancing, even the groom, who is predominantly a western music fan, was moving with his family which was great to see. During the wedding, they played beautiful wedding music that made the ceremony that much more enjoyable. Their songs choices were perfect, especially the traditional lagna geet that were played at the appropriate junctures of the ceremony. All of that was from MLE, none of it was directed or set up by me or my family and for that I'm very grateful. And finally, the reception was completely fantastic. Pavan, our emcee, was very enthusiastic, well-spoken and got the crowd going. Pavan got up on stage and led the group in line dancing and had the whole dance floor doing the wobble and the cha cha slide. It was a sight! The team was on top of our timeline that we gave them and made sure everything was running smoothly. They did a great job of rolling with the flow when mishaps arose as well. They even helped our decorator's set up crew figure out where the dance floor would start and where the guest tables should be placed. They made themselves accessible and very easy to talk to in case we needed anything, not just on the day of event, but even during the planning process leading up to the event. The team was very professional, and provided prompt replies to our queries. All in all, Pavan and team went above and beyond and far surpassed our expectations. Most wedding receptions that my family and I have been to in the past, the DJs have played song selections during the open dance floor that were not very enjoyable. They did not flow together, some of the songs were not proper. Not everyone could listen to them and enjoy them. MLE did not have that issue. My brother, a completely western music fan said it was the best setup he had ever heard and loved every minute of it. I was very much surprised at how highly satisfied he was with the music for the whole weekend so kudos to you guys! They're lightning quick with their responses and definitely make you, the client, feel like you're important to them! They customize every single wedding they do (and they do a lot!). Most photobooth companies allow you to choose a backdrop and layout. The U Booth goes way beyond that. They contacted me every single time they had a new back drop. Margaret sent me literally 50 iterations of our layout. They wanted to make sure everything was perfect for my big day! On top of that, they work with a prop company to customize props that are catered to you! I had requested emoji props and they procured a bunch of plush emojis that everyone LOVED! All their props were sooo unique - down to the inflatable heart. They even worked with me to quickly create a Texas vs New York prop the week prior to the wedding. The day of the wedding, Margaret and Cesar set up quickly and had everything ready to go prior to the ceremony start. The photos printed out super quickly and the social media integration was key. All my guests had a BLAST and all commented how this was one of the most unique and fun photobooths they've seen. Our MC and DJ were absolutely the best we've ever seen at a wedding. While we might be a bit biased, our guests confirmed it, saying they'd "never seen such an empty room of tables because everyone was on the dance floor!" Guests couldn't stop raving about how they couldn't leave the dance floor and had endless compliments for both the DJ and MC. We had Mike as our MC, and while we don't recall the DJ's name, he was phenomenal. I know some reviews mentioned DJs not playing requested songs, and while a few of our requests weren't played, we're actually so thankful for that. After all, we hired a DJ to read the room, not just follow a playlist--and he nailed it! Every song he played was exactly what the moment called for, keeping the energy high and the floor packed all night long. Good lighting design can truly set the mood and fill up a space, sometimes more than renting physical decor or going all out in other aspects. And ULS know how to do it right! For our wedding, we had a few distinct spaces: an outdoor rooftop terrace where we had our ceremony and left open for guests to socialize throughout the reception; an indoor space that held both our dance floor AND an art gallery, a challenging duality of high-energy and somewhat refined environments that needed to feel cohesive; and an after party space where we wanted to reflect the feeling of a karaoke lounge/noraebang. It was a tall order, but ULS more than delivered. Each space was so distinct yet nothing felt jarring or out of place from the rest of the event. Market lights gave the outdoor rooftop an air of romance and welcomed guests to take advantage of the summer breeze. Party lights and mirror balls danced with our guests, giving them the energy they needed to move all night. Uplights throughout, and especially in the art gallery, elevated the space (and kept us from having to default to using blinding, clinical house lights). And those same uplights in color transformed our after party floor into the vision we had of a karaoke lounge to end the night.
