This place was very busy! Must be popular. I ordered the matcha flight. I appreciate their variety in matcha flavors. I usually get my matcha's half sweet but in this case I didn't, but I should have. The flight was too sweet. My favorite one was Cookie Butter! Second favorite was the taro. So I decided to get a small size cookie butter half sweet with oat milk. Unfortunately it was still too sweet. I would definitely come back to try something different. Maybe a coffee! Went here on two different times to try there iced matchas out. I like the location, very hidden and not on a busy street. Very calm and peaceful. I tried both the banana and cookie butter matcha. Both flavors were really good. I just hoped they can add more matcha in their drinks. I like a little bit more of a matcha taste in my matcha drinks. Nonetheless the drinks were still good. One of the better matcha/coffee shops I have tried in the city. Will definitely be back. I want to try there matcha flight they offer. It is a shame because I do really like the flavors of the drinks here. I came in and asked for light ice in my drink but the attendant helping me wrote xtra ice in the cup. I was at first just going to the coffee anyway even if it wasn't what I wanted but then upon lifting it felt that the cup was really heavy. The barista when "remaking" it proceeded to scoop out the ice also taking a lot of the coffee out and just put the cream back on top. We finally made it in to Ohana Cafe after my daughter saw them on TikTok. There was a line out the door when we arrived and it only got longer as we were there. Even though the line appeared super long, seemed to go by fast. My oldest wanted to try their Thai Tea with Banana Foam but they were all sold out of Thai Tea. We ended up ordering 3 drinks, Tigers Blood Lemonade, Iced Matcha with Banana Cold Foam and Vietnamese Coffee with Banana Cold Foam. We were able to snag a table while waiting for our drink. The drinks were made hella fast. My Vietnamese Coffee with Banana Cold Foam was amazing. One of the best banana foams I've had yet! My daughter said the same about her matcha. Tried their matcha flight with oat milk (!) and the variety of options was impressive. I'd say my ranking in descending order is: 1. POG (passion, orange, guava): love the strong tropical flavor and how it didn't overpower the matcha 2. Cookie butter: this was sweet which I like and biscoff is one of my fave flavors of anything, but it won't be for everyone. cookie butter foam and actual cookie butter lining the cup kinda overwhelmed the matcha though 3. Ocean (blue matcha/butterfly pea): didn't know what to expect with this flavor. the blue matcha is actually the base and the regular matcha is the foam, so the matcha flavor wasn't as strong, but it wasn't too sweet at all and the blue matcha was super mild 4. Raspberry: unique and a strong raspberry flavor (cold foam on top and puree on the bottom), but the matcha flavor kinda got lost. maybe this was a ratio problem since the cups in the flight were small, so I'd give this the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure it's good in a standard cup size! I've also tried their banana matcha, which was creamy and refreshing; the matcha quality was decent (although could've been stronger) and I love that they use real banana for their in-house banana cold foam. Tried a few sips of their strawberry matcha too which was also yummy (strawberry cold foam on top and some strawberry puree on the bottom). Overall, the banana and the POG matchas get my strongest rec! read more

Great activity to do with friends and pretty fairly priced for the 4 drinks. Filled up 2-3 people easily. Found myself loving the banana matcha and ocean matcha the most! Came here after seeing a post on instagram about their banana cold foam. We walked in and it smelled amazing. It was pretty busy but there was plenty of seating available. First time visiting this local coffee shop. Loved the friendly environment and decor. It provided a sense of a little vacation away from routine. The coffee was fresh and not burnt. The ladies working there were friendly, kind and attentive. They were patient with us new customers and even provided suggestions. Ohana means matcha... My sister and I were so excited to try this new spot! We are always on the hunt for cafes in/near the 209 -- especially cafes to study at. The surrounding area is really nice and relaxing, despite being near healthcare offices. Lots of parking available and the cafe has a gender neutral bathroom! Great WiFi and decent amount of seating. Kind of small inside though and hope they expand in the future. The menu is pretty extensive for both drinks and food. There were even "off menu" items available on colorful signs like Dubai Mocha or Chai Tea Flight. I particularly enjoyed how many different flavors they had for the cold foam. Perfect for the matcha flight option if you'd like to try different kind of flavors! I'm forever a vanilla gurl so I opted for that, whereas my sister experimented with the banana and raspberry. Their cold foam be thickkkk and exquisite let me tell you. The banana cold foam came with banana chips and it tasted like real banana (okay #win). I would've liked some banana pudding aspect or nilla cookie action, but it still done did the job. The raspberry matcha even came with the puree which was just perfectly sweet and smooth. It did overpower the matcha, so I'd suggest getting a large. The matcha itself was a huge highlight. Like they are fr shading the tea leaves and grounding them right here in Stockton I'm not kidding. Creamy, sweet, and no bitterness with a very subtle umami flavor. Turkey pesto wasn't anything new, but they had this sandwich PACKED like they don't hold back on their meat or serving size. My sister and I tore this down to the paper wrapping. The pesto was delicious and I would definitely order this again too. Really solid spot and I've been craving their matcha ever since. Ohana has quickly become my favorite cafe in Stockton. They have some of the best matcha in the area. When you walk in the ambiance is welcoming and upbeat. A lot of people come here to study and socialize, and you are immediately welcomed with smiles and kindness. We have tried all of their matcha flavors and our go to orders have become the cookie butter matcha and the coconut matcha. The owner once offered us an off menu coconut matcha affogato and it was incredible! We will be ordering this as soon as they make it available. The Salted Caramel White Mocha is a 5/5 for me. Easily my personal favorite. It's rich, smooth, and the salted caramel flavor really comes through without being overly sweet. Definitely one of those drinks I crave when I'm nearby. The Banana Matcha was also a 5/5. The banana adds a nice natural sweetness that pairs surprisingly well with the matcha, making it a refreshing and unique combo. I visited Ohana Cafe today and unfortunately had a really bad experience. I saw a roach crawling on the table we were sitting at, which was extremely concerning and unacceptable. This also isn't the first time I've seen a roach here, which makes it even more concerning. When my friend waited to use the bathroom, she could see into the kitchen and said it looked very dirty as well. I've also heard from other people about finding hair or bugs in their food in the past. After what I personally saw today, I definitely have concerns about the cleanliness of this place. I really hope management takes sanitation more seriously because customers should be able to feel comfortable and safe eating here. read more

This was a great little find out in Stockton. We were camping close by and I had to drive into Stockton to grab some things at the store. I looked up matcha and was delighted to see a cafe with so many not only matcha options, but other wonderfully looking drinks as well. My main intent was to order iced matcha lattes so we picked up one of those, strawberry matcha lattes, a hojicha latte, banana matcha latte, biscoff latte and an iced caramel latte with banana cream cold foam. Keeping this one short and sweet. Came here with my cousin recently. Iced Banana Matcha Lattes with a banana cold foam are one of my new found favorite drinks so I had to order theirs. Maybe a controversial take on this subject but I like to taste concentrated flavors for the most part and often times I feel the concentrated artificial flavors can in a sense taste more like a given item like a fruit. Example would be watermelon shakes/smoothies, blend up watermelon and you're left with a watery full drink once you've mixed in the ice etc. The short version here is that I had asked for extra banana syrup in my matcha. The girl said they make their in house that goes into the drink and is used for the cold foam; I went on with my order. When I took that first sip I realized they used real bananas for their cold foam and as the banana flavor at the bottom of my matcha too. Had I known that their house-made banana syrup was basically just puréed or blended banana, as opposed to an actual syrup/sauce, I never would have ordered it. So I guess this would have been more of a service issue with communication as opposed to an issue with the quality of the drink. While the matcha itself was pretty good, it wasn't what I was prepared to order. It just didn't stack up to the banana matcha at my usual spot. It almost seems unfair to give them a 3 BUT being that this is my only experience I'd have to give them a 3/5. It's a cute little cafe though with a decent number of tables. Seems like a spot a lot of people come to study and get some work done. read more

My sister in law gave us a recommendation to try Ohana cafe in Stockton and I am glad we did. We had different matcha drinks, the taro latte and a mocha and these drinks were amazing. What i loved was the fact that the drinks were not overly sweet which is something I don't like. The service was great and the ladies were so friendly and helpful.
