Such a cute tea house in downtown China Grove, NC. Decor and historic building are very fitting. The owner is very sweet & accommodating. The food and teas are fantastic! Plan to come back for sone special occasions.

out and about midday Saturday thinking about a late and unhealthful breakfast but caught a glimpse…read moreout of the corner of my eye and wound up here instead ;-) back fence carries a variety of verses with suggested applications in an even tone for the benefit of those taking advantage of the drive through. the entrance is flanked by some patio seating under a sturdy pergolaen structure of sorts that could maybe use a cover in case of weather (or not.) inside is wide open with a variety of seating options and assorted god-stuff conspicuously on display but not really pushing a particular style of godliness (unless I missed something) which is unusual nowadays and hereabouts. I took a seat at the slightly too high high top hoping my coffee would cool some while waiting for a ham and cheese croissant for here and a fruited scone to go... pleasant conversation and a tasty morsel occupied most of an hour before I had to excuse myself to care for the afternoon's drudgery exchanging sincere well-wishes with the young lady at the register as I passed by.

I've been here twice. There's usually a couple people inside, but it's never been packed. I asked…read morethe barista to read off the flavor names because I have mild astigmatism (didn't have my glasses) and the font on the menu behind the counter was kind of small. She looked at me like I asked her to do a backflip or something. Probably the longest wait for coffee to be finished of any local spot I've tried. It was also the priciest and "weakest" coffee I've had compared to other local places, but not by much. I usually only come here if other coffee shops are closed and I need a caffeine fix. On another note, I got a cheese danish on my visit today and it was really tasty! Overall, kinda mid.
