Awesome visit on a weekday morning. Outside offers plenty of parking and some nice patio seating. They also have a drive-thru option. Inside, they have several seating areas including multiple comfy nooks. They did a great job with the ambiance. Everything was warm and welcoming. Good for individuals or an 8-person group. The two-person staff did a fantastic job. One person in register and one on drive-thru. They kept things rolling and did not sacrifice service whatsoever. I tried a chai tea latte with vanilla flavoring. I think I arrived too late for some of the other baked goods, but I was able to try a delicious blueberry muffin. I suggest getting it warmed up. Everything was delicious and priced fairly. Special notes: they only accept cards. My only recommendation is adding more outlets where possible. The coffeehouse is a little out of the way for me, but definitely worth the trip. I can't wait to bring my hubby for a visit. read more

The coffee shop has a great atmosphere! As well as great coffee and service. Overall, happy and satisfied.

Unfortunately, they have gone downhill. The past few times have been bad. A few weeks ago I waited 15 mins, with only one other car in the drive thru, to get my coffee. I thought maybe it was just a bad day but the final straw was the terrible customer service provided by the barista this past Saturday. I asked for a straw and she threw her hand up at me in a shooing, annoyed way and said they're over there. Sadly, we probably won't be back. read more

Great atmosphere! I found a new great spot to get work done. Plenty of outlets, Wi-Fi, and comfy places to sit. Not too loud, either. Great menu selection. A lot of flavors to choose from so you can customize your drinks to your liking. Service was good, too. Love the spiritual emphasis here. Makes me feel at home. Can't wait to get more drinks! I had an encounter with God at this coffee shop on a Saturday night. I went to their restroom and as I read the article they have on their wall, the presence of God touched me, I dropped to my knees crying. It was such a precious time. I then went back out and followed The Holy Spirit as He ministered to me as a band was playing that night. God then showed me to pray for their barista, so I approached her and to my surprise it is a pastor He had me praying for. The Holy Spirit led me that night to finish ministering to her, there were a few pauses to attend customers. Thank God He is such a Gentleman to guide us without business being interrupted. I stumbled upon this adorable coffee shop driving through China Grove and SO glad I did. Honestly, it feels like home. It's the perfect place to catch up with a friend, or discuss a book or Bible study with a group. The coffee options are unique and delicious. I recently enjoyed a honey lavender latte that paired amazingly well with a huge homemade cinnamon bun. The bakery delicacies are just as wonderful as the coffee. The seating is great, and the lighting is bright, yet cozy. The giant pouf ball chair is ridiculously comfortable. There is even a curbside ordering lane available now. The place is nice looking inside with new furniture and flooring however signs in the toilet state that plumbing gets clogged easily and they ask to throw everything in the trash ... it feels like Guatemala or Honduras sewer system is deployed in China Grove, NC.... I asked for a large latte with extra shot to get a taste of the coffee.... but I got an extremely weak drink with the only taste I could distinguish was that of a steamed milk, maybe a little coffee scent in the background but I really could not tell - definitely not what I was looking for - that "coffee" reminded me of a weak Dunkin Donuts watery coffee that I purchased on a gas station long long time ago... Holy Grind has definitely a potential to get better, but #1 thing to change would be the coffee beans because the ones I got today have almost no taste... or maybe the girl forgot to put an extra shot? I can't tell really.... and #2 thing to change is the plumber - to ask customers to throw used toilet paper to the trash instead of flushing it is so 1920s... and it must stink after a while. read more

Update 2020: I am disappointed and over businesses not taking Covid seriously. From social media posts, The Holy Grind is hosting vendor events without masks. The holy grind is super cute!!! Not only are there various seating options, the menu is always super fun and the staff are very helpful. I visited on a pretty slow day and got to try out different spots to sit and explore. They have a wall of games and multiple outlets if you're going to be using a laptop. The coffee is pretty good and there are enough options for people that don't want coffee as well. The store is a good distance from where I live, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for new coffee shops to explore. read more

Nice place to drink coffee but I just can't help to notice how I feel out of place there. My wife likes coming to the one in kannapolis to gets her coffee there, and when she saw the now hiring sign she got excited. She was interested to work there but from as far as I can tell they only hire caucasians there, but she gave it a try anyway. ( keep in mind my wife and I are both Hispanics) once she went into the building, she was greeted very dry she asked for an application, the first thing the girls behind the counter did was look at her up and down funny and said with an arrogant tone "do you even have work authorization" and "are you even 18" honestly that is very offensive I took as "are you even legal to work here" she gave her an application and they took and and didn't say a word to my wife. She walked out of there feeling horrible, to be honest I thought this was a good Christian coffee place that's why we buy there and support local businesses especially if it's Christian, but this place proved me wrong my wife and I will not be coming here no more and I will make sure my family doesn't either. read more

Love the new location, atmosphere is great. We had a great experience until they started vacuuming. That was the LOUDEST, must HIGH PITCHED vacuum I have ever heard in my life, then they started vacuuming under my feet. I think a broom might be a better solution when customers are in the store.
