Found this cute coffee shop On Yelp as we were passing through Charlotte. Great place for relaxing and enjoying a good cup of coffee. Staff was very nice and service was prompt. I had the Americano with SF White Chocolate syrup. I was going to get some half & half but they charge $2!!!! That was the only thing that would stop me from going back (or take my own!) We didn't go through the drive through but the way they have it laid out is awful. If you go inside park way out so you don't get blocked. Overall, very nice place. I was pleasantly surprised by this coffeeshop. It's located in an older shopping center near the corner of South Cannon & Dale Earnhardt. There is plenty of parking and they have a drive thru option. They have a nice variety of Hot and Iced drinks as well as some Frozen drinks and Smoothies. They also offer a small variety of baked goods and snacks. I tried a small Chai Tea Latte and a Cranberry Orange muffin during my visit. I was very happy with both. I was also happy to find that the prices were reasonable (both items were $7). The inside is pretty spacious, warm and very welcoming. They have 5 tables, comfortably seating 3-4 people each. They also have a nice couch and arm chairs near the fire place. You can find several outlets along the wall (they have USB outlets, too). There were only two staff members during my visit, but let me tell you, they were awesome! They welcomed every guest like they were old friends and they kept the drive thru moving. Seriously, the drive thru was flowing the whole time. I would definitely recommend the French Express and I look forward to my next visit. read more

I love this French Express!! The staff is so kind and their service is great. Not only are they super nice people but super good at making coffees!!! after my first visit here this has been my new regular place. It's a cute little coffee spot. I wish they had more food options, but it's fine because they make up for it with their amazing brew's that they have. The prices are super reasonable stopped going to Starbucks to come here instead my personal favorite part about my experience with this coffee shop is that my favorite lattes are mocha lattes and this happens to be one of the only spots around here left that actually carry mocha malt powder. Most of these other places just use chocolate syrup, which doesn't give it the right texture and flavor that it needs to be great. They really know what they're doing over there, if you're craving a hot mocha latte, with a beautiful texture similar to hot chocolate - I highly suggest getting one with whipped cream.! read more

They have some of the best bean, in Kannapolis~Concord ... for your hot or cold beverage. And they're good people They accidentally over-cream your drink? You let them know {ask them to add some more brew, to balance it out} , they say "No problem" and take care of it. No drama. It's amazing how quick they make people drinks, going through the drive-through - even people wanting it made in some crazy, complicated way. After a good work out, what's the best way to celebrate the fact that you actually went to them gym after weeks? Coffee! French express is conveniently located in the plaza with Planet Fitness and I couldn't fight off the urge to reward myself. I had the frozen witches brew coffee which has chocolate (I heard it's good for the heart. Well, maybe that's dark chocolate. Same difference!), notes of nuts (I can't remember if it was almond of hazelnut) and for an extra $1, I added protein powder. They do have a drive thru, which seemed like everyone preferred but don't rush because when you're at the window, Avi takes her time explaining the different coffees and what you can expect when you're at the window! Same prices as Starbucks, more options, loyalty program cards, bigger portions, kick ass staff! What more could you ask for?!? Oh yeah, and the coffee was great! The Best Coffee House in the area. I love that I can bring my own food, heat it there and eat it here as long as I buy a drink. Staff is great and the selection of coffee is wide, they will mix you a new drink if you tell them what you want in it. They use Ohio based Crimson Cup roasting company for beans with Armando Blend being their choice #1. They do reservations for the tables if you plan a group meeting. I really like this place. The coffee is good, the staff is awesome. Today was my first time there and the store is really cute. I didn't realize they had a drive thru until I pulled in the parking lot. If I didn't work in the opposite direction, I'd make this a stop off point for sure. The ONLY issue I had with it was the air freshener. I'm not sure if I was sitting next to it or something, but it overpowered the smell of the coffee and that coffee smell is one of my favorite things about coffee shops. It got to be too much so I ended up leaving earlier than I wanted to, but it won't deter me from coming back. Check this place out if you're in the area. It's a great little place. read more

Recently discovered this cool hang out spot, and I'm not disappointed at all. I ordered an iced hazelnut coffee and it was delicious. The owner of the cafe is very friendly and personable and will strike a conversation with you. This is a family owned business and you can tell they care about their customers. The ambience is laid back and there are even couches to sit on as well as tables. The prices are reasonable and you're supporting a local business. Definitely my new hang out spot. Great place for coffee and great staff with that being said I wouldn't buy a bag of coffee for home. They used to be full bags for around $14 now it's the same price and the last two times it's been a half a bag. I questioned them about it the next time I went and they told me they weigh it out. Went there for an iced coffee with sugar free syrup they had a ton of the sugar free syrups to choose from and he recommended the hazelnut almond syrup (the nutty professor )!!!
