Such a great addition to Syracuse! Their tea selection was amazing, we weren't sure what to order so we got a little bit of everything!! The matchas were the stars of the show - so delicious! Parking was street parking, but we easily found a spot. We had a great time, and we are excited to come back and try more items!

As a novice tea drinker, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors of the teas I tried. Friendly, educational service. Great ambiance.

Cake Bar - The Cafe is an adorable stop in downtown Syracuse…read more The interior is really modern, inviting, and has gentle music playing. There is always a pleasant vibe to it and often there are people chatting or working on laptops. Employees are always really nice. I really enjoy the Pandan Matcha. Its so hard to find pandan drinks in the area! I find the drinks are often really sweet and so its important to order them with no sugar or less sugar. The boba is okay although the straws they have been using lately are too small for them so they lose some of the shape and correct texture. A random thing I love about their drinks are they used a crushed ice, it makes it feel appropriately portioned to the drink itself. Although I am not a coffee person, the cafe lattes are my partner's favorite in the area and they are highly customizable. It's also nice that they offer a carrier when you have a few drinks to-go. Interestingly, the cake and desserts are the weaker part for me for Cake Bar. They are often pretty dry for my tastes. My favorite has been the potato chip cookies, but I have only seen them a few times. The chicken wing dip buns are pretty good and filling though and are worth trying! Overall its a great stop and a nice place to bring friends when they stop by or to hang out whilst doing some work.

Grabbed my favorite tea, Honeydew Iced tea with watermelon and also tried out thier new dim sum. The barbeque pork rice rolls were delicious... but I admit I have gotten those before. As always the owner is so sweet and stopped to check on how we liked everything, and welcomed us to the new location. I wanted to make sure to share out since they have been working on opening for awhile and they are certainly back better than ever.

I needed something quick and filling and found hi tea just searching for what was still open. Mobile ordered it and walked right over. They had just finished my drink and were finishing up the food. Very quick turn around which was great probably 15 minutes. The aesthetic of the store is adorable powder pink seating and lots of stuffed animals. The employees are super nice and friendly too. My milk tea was delicious and the sweet treat I needed, loved the cold foam they put on it and I got to decide the sugar level which I chose 50% and that was still very sweet. The rice noodles were delicious, perfect chewy consistency and great flavor. There was lots of shrimp and pork, I gave half to my boyfriend. Highly recommend if you're looking for something quick and easy but want something different from the usual chain.

This kind of made me feel better because at least we are set up and a place that was previously unoccupied and run down. I went as a birthday group a couple months ago, we each got something different to test out the menu. The ordering process, the paying process and the food took longer than desired but you definitely can use the time to see the cats in the meantime. It's very chill, just go and hang out with some cats. But they have kittens and they like to snuggle and play. This differs from other cat cafes in the area, that don't have as many cats that are likely to come up to you and want you to pet them. The food was pretty good. I had the bento box with the sake chicken. It was pretty good, but kind of small for the price. Another at the table had the beef dish and said it was great but again was small for the price. For dessert they gave us a birthday plate which was awesome, on the house. The dessert was delicious. The onigiri were pretty cool because you can choose different flavors. And the boba tea flavors are awesome. I love that you can get the split cup and try multiple that way. My friend said the brown sugar Bob was delicious. The owner came down and chatted with us a little, was pretty cool... and he's super proud of what he's got there! As he should be. Whoever adopts or adopted the kitten named Growl Tiger, please take good care of the little guy for me!

It's also right off the Empire State Trail. However, the cat room itself smelled horrendous. I was smacked in the face with the smell of feces as soon as I stepped in and I had to cover my nose with my scarf the whole time. The was cat poop sitting on top of the litter boxes and the staff spraying air freshener did nothing to dampen it. It was off putting enough that I'm unlikely to return to the cat room. I thought the latte I had was fine and the capped beverage container it came in was smart.

I'm not a bubble tea fan, so I can't speak to that, but I do quite enjoy their ramen bowls and have had them on multiple occasions. The standout for me is the miso base with chicken. The broth is piping hot, the green onion flavor is awesome, and it's a chock full of ingredients. The interior is unique with big, open windows and some funky booths. My main complaint here is that service tends to be a bit slow. I'd recommend ordering ahead of time and then eating there once you pick it up or just doing take out. Ordering through the counter can take awhile, even if it's quiet in there. Happy to continue to support them!

The place was totally empty when we walked in and outside of 1 Uber Eats order we were it 4:30 PN. But, it still took 15 minutes for two bowls of ramen and one rice bowl to be ready. Our meals were good but not worth the drive from Marcellus. I've had worse and I've had better bowls of ramen. The stock was good but it was lacking any real depth of flavor and seemed to be singular in tone and lacked any real silky rich mouth feel. Nothing that would warrant a wave off, but nothing significant enough for a book mark. We all like what we like, but for me this was an average experience.

I found myself with some work to do on a Saturday morning and decided to swing by. There's on street parking on the block it's on and surrounding blocks. There's also an abandoned store across the street with a small lot, which is where I wound up parking. The space is small but I didn't have any trouble finding a seat, though I imagine that might be a different case later in the day or during peak study time for the students. I got an ube iced coffee special with oat milk, and impulsively ordered the breakfast burrito too. I figured if they have shirts advertising the burrito, it must be good. The decor is very trendy and chic and well-curated, and you'll feel super hip hanging out here. The coffee was alright but my shot was a bit on the bitter side - assuming this was just a one-off. The breakfast burrito lived up to the hype. Fluffy eggs, perfectly crispy pressed tortilla, a flavorful aioli generously slathered all over the plate. Definitely one of the places to come (if not THE place) in Syracuse if you want a breakfast burrito. Unfortunately for me, the WiFi was down when I went, so I couldn't actually do my work and didn't stay long. Womp womp. Perhaps unavoidable, but definitely not ideal for a coffee shop. I wish I'd brought a book with me that day or had more time just to spend, because I'd say this spot is great for silent reading and unplugging more than working or socializing. Worth checking out, for the aesthetics and the tasty egg burritos.
