This is THE place in CNY for tea. If you love tea, you absolutely MUST come visit. First, the couple that own the shop are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They love to have a good chat about tea and will remember you the next time you come in because they run the place themselves. There honestly aren't a lot of places like that around anymore, so it's refreshing. Their tea selection is absolutely off the charts. So much variety in the types of teas they offer and they often have new ones on rotation. They're always happy to give you a recommendation whether you're new to tea or if your favorite is out of stock! Some of my favorites I'd recommend from their shop include: Black (most caffeine): Honey Hong Cha, Wild Tree Purple Oolong: Four Seasons, Milk Oolong Green: Jasmine Pearls Herbal (caffeine free): Hibiscus, Lemongrass, Chamomile They also sell a bunch of tea-related equipment from beautiful cups and pots to small gifts like infusers, tea journals, and $3 sample bags. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much of their unassuming food menu but it was actually very good. In particular, I tried their red wine chili which was INCREDIBLE. I've never had that style of chili before, but it was show-stopping. They also host kitchen takeovers and tasting events in collaboration with From Scratch Caz, which are incredibly fun and delicious! I loved their recent oolong-themed event and am looking forward to the new event next month! Truly a series I hope they continue for the foreseeable future. I haven't tried their bubble tea, mostly because... why would I? This place is an absolute gem for good loose tea and I savor that unique experience each time I drive up from Binghamton to visit. I'm sure the bubble tea is good, but you're really missing out if you don't share a nice pot of tea with friends on a quiet afternoon here. Truly a hidden gem. If I lived near Cazenovia, this would be my go-to third place. So I come here as often as I can and hope you get the chance to, as well! BEST BUBBLE TEA AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I came here yesterday after a hike and I couldn't decide what bubble tea flavor to choose even after asking about each flavor. I asked the lady behind the counter to surprise me with any flavor she chooses and to use coconut milk for the base. She wound up choosing her favorite: Mango and it was really good . The interior was a bit dark or shaded but after being in the hot sun outside for a few hours it was rather nice. Large area with seats and tables. Great spot to hangout with friends! This is the best tea place I've to. It is convenient and local, well priced and has a multitude of options. It has tea and snacks and all of them are great options for a quick lunch or brunch. Even staying there for quite a while is relaxing, however you want to spend your day I would chose to spend time here. The service here is amazing, they are nice and kind people. read more

Worst Service and Bubble Tea Ever - my son and I stopped in here one afternoon for bubble teas. There was a couple seated, waiting for their order. There was one woman working and she definitely saw us (there is only about 3 ft behind the 15ft long counter), but never acknowledged us. No "hello", no "just a second", nothing. She was entirely consumed on making these two drinks. When she finished she looked at us and mumbled "hi". The awkward service was just foreshadowing of the awkward drinks we would be receiving. I ordered a coconut green tea, but was told they were out of tapioca bubbles, so I had to have poppers. Not a fan, but I went with it. My son had a peach tea with mango poppers. When we got our drinks they were just below room temperature, and had no ice in them. Mine had a very artificial taste to it and I couldn't finish the drink (my son tried it and said it tasted like sunscreen). The peach tea had an initially good flavor, but left you with a strange aftertaste. I'm so disappointed. I was really excited to have a spot to get bubble tea outside of the city, that wasn't a chain. read more

My sisters and I went here on a road trip and we are so glad we did! The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff was genuinely friendly. The comprehensive tea menu was so much fun to peruse. I chose a light oolong to drink there and I bought some Lapsang Souchon to take home. Both were delicious! Also, ask about the photography on the walls. A cute little tea room that has taken over the space where Circa was. The tea room has not only tea and finger sandwiches but also a full food menu including flat bread pizza, quesadillas, etc. The traditional tea sandwiches are divine but I would also recommend the flatbread pizzas. Of course the best part of this place is the comprehensive and detailed tea menu and tea related sundries that are sold here. I particularly enjoyed the herbal teas as well as the Oolong tea, and the Nepalese teas. The teas from Nepal were a first for me and I found them to be light and refreshing. The multiple one tea menu was easy to navigate without being overwhelming, however there weren't that many highly caffeinated tea options. My dining companion and I had a blast and would definitely go back again. Keep this place in mind for high teas, semi-formal teas, casual teas, and any other type of tea drinking. I held a bridge club for eight at the Loka Leaf. Mark put out a food spread that had the ladies marveling, served five different teas, two decaf...he thinks of everyone. This is my Caz hang out. Superb tea, the highest quality tea in NY. Good food, excellent service, very knowledgable about the teas they serve. When family or friends visit this is a must stop.
