    Strawberry matcha latte with boba
    Filmer Y.

I'm a little surprised this shop isn't getting more love on Yelp. It's one of the few milk tea shops here on the west side and it certainly delivers. It has all the standard milk tea drinks along with some extras where they add their own twist. I'm a matcha guy, so I typically go for a matcha latte or smoothie. I also tried their strawberry matcha latte. Their matcha drinks are okay, better than most other matcha places I've tried. Their twist on the strawberry matcha latte was interesting. Not my favorite, but I'm down to try again. Typically the strawberry puree is at the bottom of the drink and you can mix it, but they did a sort of foam that they put on top, and it was a little harder to mix since it's floating on the top and sticking to the lid. Overall, this is a great spot to get boba especially if you're on the west side. It's a little pricey but I think it's similarly priced to other boba shops in Albuquerque. Parking is plentiful, interior is clean, staff are super friendly. Hard to find something to not like about this place. Definitely coming back!

    Taro Brûlée

A little sip of heaven! The taro brûlée is hands down the best taro I've ever had. The flavor is rich and creamy without being too overpowering. It's pricey, but I don't necessarily care, the flavor is worth it! They have a punch card system as well, and I can't wait to go back and get more.

    Vietnamese coffee and taro Brûlée

We had Vietnamese coffee and the taro brûlée milk tea. Both were delicious, but sweeter than expected. Service was fast. I wish there were some low calorie/sugar options indicated on the menu, but this is a great place to have a treat!

Very nice environment, modern and bright! The teas were super flavorful and the cashier was very helpful with her knowledge of the menu and made several great suggestions on what my wife and I should try. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and we will definitely be back soon. Oh and don't forget to buy a Ube cookie!!!! They are phenomenal!

Pumpkin spice latte frappe with boba

Super delicious and affordable. Boba can be pretty pricey, and this one was huge and only $7. Compared to big companies, this is a good deal! The staff were really nice to me, and made sure my drink came out quick. The store was cute inside as well! The PSL frappe I had was really nice, the flavor was perfect. The boba had a great texture too, cooked just enough to have that good chew. I live a bit far away from here but I am going to be making the trip more often!

    Boba drinks!

The tea lab was super cute and the service was excellent! I really enjoyed all the options and add ons they had for their drinks. I purchased the taro creme brulee drink and absolutely loved it!

The employees are the absolute sweetest (sometimes they even throw in free stuff) and while their English isn't perfect, they are incredibly kind. For my fellow autistic people who deal with overstimulation: the vibe here was perfect. The menu is easy to understand. It is the single location that didn't make me want to rip my hair out. There aren't 20 TVs and loud music playing all at once; it was always quiet. Many other locations, I can't stand being in there 5 minutes without dissociating or flipping out in my mind. I remember there used to be an art pinboard and games around the time I first visited, though I think they removed those ages ago. The place was decorated so cutely and had its own unique vibe I didn't find anywhere else. Unfortunately, as of June 2026, they're closing their doors to make way for some corporate chain that looks like it has no character whatsoever. RIP to a real one. I am actually so effing SAD, dude. So yeah, it isn't worth going anymore since they no longer exist it seems. I hope the founders are doing well since it was family owned. They seemed to be struggling a bit after COVID happened.

The broth was amazing, noodles, meat and other inclusions were perfectly cooked. The service was great!. Super friendly staff and very helpful. I did not get any Boba, but we'll plan to next time. I would definitely come here again.

We were on the westside shopping when a craving hit. We saw Starry Moon and made a pit stop. Our drinks kind of took a minute to get, but we did order 5 drinks. They all came out looking fantastic. The drinks were tasty & on par with what I've had with good teahouses in Houston Asian town. There is an area to sit and hang out. This teahouse house has some notable cool things that none of the other ones I've tried in Albuquerque/Rio Rancho have offered. This is the only teahouse that 1) uses real fruit in their drinks, 2) have bingsu on the menu, & 3) have games to play. The place is nicely decorated with some cool themes & has a cool vibe. The only negative that I can think of is that their restroom wasn't working/accessible for customers at this time. After buying drinks for a group of 4 with children and hanging out playing games, someone will eventually need to use the restroom. They said we could walk to the restaurant across the way & use their restroom. ‍ This place may be good if you're in the area & want to grab a drink & go or don't plan on staying too long. Hopefully the restroom situation gets sorted out soon. I came back a week later to grab a drink & go since I was in the area and decided to update my review. The service was great and my drink came out quick just like the 1st time. I was acknowledged as I stepped up to the counter The workers were polite and answered my questions. This time I tried the dirty milk tea after reading the reviews. I was told it had consdensed milk and caramel. It was pretty awesome and packed full of flavor & sweetness. But scine I don't normally go for the super sweet drinks, it got to be a lil too much after a while. If I do pick it up again, I'd prob dial down the sweetness level. Overall, this teahouse has been the best one we've been to so far. I recommend stopping by & giving them a try. We'll try out the bingsu next time.

First of all, Cup of Cozy? That's either the name of a coffee shop or the title of a Hallmark movie…read morewhere a stressed-out city executive learns the true meaning of Christmas. Either way, I'm in. The name sets some pretty high expectations. "Cozy" isn't just a word--it's a promise. It's soft blankets, rainy afternoons, books you swear you'll finish someday, and coffee cups that require two hands. Fortunately, Cup of Cozy understood the assignment. Walking inside felt like stepping into a space that was intentionally cared for. Everything was remarkably clean, tastefully decorated, and arranged in a way that made me want to stay longer than I planned. There were plenty of tables and seating, and a small music stage tucked into the back that gave the whole place the feeling of a community gathering spot rather than just another coffee counter. You can easily imagine live music, conversations, and regulars settling into their favorite corners. The shop is owned by a friendly couple, and their warmth seems to be baked right into the atmosphere. Some places work hard to feel welcoming; this one simply is. Drink-wise, the lavender latte arrived with a little bit of an attitude. It wasn't one of those timid lattes that politely whispers "coffee" from across the room. This one showed up, introduced itself firmly, and then followed through with a surprisingly smooth lavender finish. Strong? Absolutely. Tasty? Also absolutely. The Starry Island Italian soda was the perfect counterbalance. One sip and suddenly my brain was nowhere near New Mexico. It was somewhere with palm trees, warm ocean breezes, and a beach chair that costs more than it should. Fruity, tropical, and incredibly refreshing, it tasted like the beverage equivalent of a mini vacation. If the lavender latte was the serious adult in the room, the Starry Island was already barefoot in the sand, ordering another round of sunshine. And because life is unpredictable, I also left with a 5-pound bag of ice. Not every coffee shop can satisfy your caffeine needs and prepare you for a backyard barbecue in the same transaction. Cup of Cozy delivered exactly what its name promises: good drinks, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger. In a world full of coffee shops trying to become destinations, this one succeeds by simply being comfortable, welcoming, and authentic. Sometimes that's all it takes to make an ordinary stop feel like the best part of your day.
