Their açaí bowls are always amazing! But tonight, I had the rudest experience ever with ordering food at an establishment. As my boyfriend and I were walking up to the doors, this girl (Sol) was mopping and threw down the mop, rolled her eyes and stormed to the back. She made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. It was only 7:20 pm, they close at 8. I'm not sure why it's an issue to Sol to come in 40 minutes before closing? Her bad attitude progressed as Noelle took our order ( who btw was a sweetheart and in no way involved with Sol's fit fest) as they finished my order, Sol handed it out to me and threw my spoon on the counter, upside down and rolling her eyes. This menu offers a slew of berry and veggie options that run the gamut, from bright sweet stuff that isn't particularly healthy per se (but picky kids will slurp up), to very good-for-you drinks and bowls, with calorie and protein counts assigned to each (I love seeing that on a menu). I've visited three times and enjoyed every bite, especially the cold brew acai bowl the other day, totally weird and just right after a workout. Finally there is a place that sells raw juices and smoothies that you KNOW are good for you as opposed to I guess its good for me. There are sooooo many choices. I keep coming back because theres always something different to try and the flavor combinations are awesome. My favorite smoothie is the Lava Flow, it tastes like candy. My favorite juice is the Energizer. I wouldn't eat kale or spinach but will I drink it when pineapple, ginger, grapes and apples get mixed in. Delicious! And its pretty much straight up nutrients. After a hard workout, I needed something to eat and didn't want to compromise all the hard work I just did. I ordered the pitaya passion bowl and It was delicious! Nice thick smoothie topped with blueberries, strawberries and amazing granola! Really good granola, like the kind I am still thinking about 3 days later- good. They excel in customer service - every juice maker always greets me, and always has a big smile on his/her face. I order my usual... I custom order a fresh juice (40% beets, 40% Apples, and 10% ginger for a little spice kick). It's always made perfectly... No extra juice foam or fruit particles. They also ask if you want ice or not. On hotter days, I order iced smoothies, usually the pineapple version that tastes like a pina colada. It's fresh, and not too sweet. Another time, I was feeling a bit adventurous and ordered an acai bowl. I wasn't a fan. To me, it basically tasted like acai smoothie thrown in a bowl, with sweetened granola, blueberries and honey. It was overwhelmingly too sweet for me. I was just curious because that's what most people order, especially around the lunchtime hour. I think I'll be sticking to my earth-made real juice. Overall, I've been satisfied at every visit here! If you've never been, I'd recommend stopping by at an off-peak hour or you can expect to wait between 7-12 minutes for your drink. We just went in for our smoothies this Sunday morning. The two young women working behind the counter were fantastic! They worked at lightning speed, creating these delicious, fresh concoctions. We ordered the Melon Madness and the Matcha Green Tea smoothie with sugar free yogurt. They were both SO good! The melon madness had just the right amount of sweetness and it was so refreshing on this warm day. The Matcha Green Tea smoothie was blended perfectly and enjoying it with sugar-free yogurt is perfect because, I think, it's sweet enough as it is. I think that some people might think this place is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for here!
