I have gone here many times and will always be a return customer; today's experience was so amazing I made a yelp account just for this. I ordered a Thai tea with tapioca pearls, and it was delicious! The thing that stood out to me the most was the man working and his kindness. My friends and I were being followed by a suspicious man, and he had the generosity to protect us and keep us safe and even make sure we got to our car safe. 100/10! Very watery boba smoothies. This was my first time in the area. The store was very nice and they did follow COVID-19 protocols. I give them two stars because they had such a wide variety of drink options. I got the half coconut and half taro smoothie with boba. This is typically my favorite drink to get at boba shops that allow you to mix two flavors but here you couldn't really taste either flavor. The boba was cooked to perfection but sadly I do not think I would return to this store or recommend them to friends. read more

I did check into Teaberry, and waited in line for 15 minutes, as the people in front had taken their time. The establishment had 1 employee present, who had spent their time explaining each item on the menu to the couple. It was great that she was so helpful, but there we're already several people who were still waiting for their items to be made. After 15 minutes, we had just decided to leave. I may return to visit, with hopes to try a bubble tea. I felt that the establishment was nice, and has great potential... and because of that, I had given them 2 stars... for now. read more

The younger Asian lady with a pony tail at the counter was extremely rude. It was my first time at this establishment, however it was not my first time trying bubble teas. I frequent bigger establishments ie: yi fang, quicklys, ding tea, and wanted to support this locally owned establishment. I ordered a "thai tea," where she proceeded to catch an attitude and puffed and asked me to speak up. I then ordered a "taro tea," where she raised her voice and said "which one?" As She tapped the menu and rolled her eyes. I then sat down to wait for my order as I saw her go up to the guy in the back and was complaining about me not knowing what tea I wanted. I know these are trying times for small businesses, but her unnecessary attitude made this experience an unpleasant one. Due to the lack of professionalism, I will not be frequenting this establishment. Upon entering the cafe, you are greeted with oriental decorations with green colored walls. I would give the interior design a 4/10. Unlike many other cafes I've been to, this cafe uses a traditional menu book instead of a large menu board or tv screen. I'm assuming the owner had an intention of keeping the cafe as traditional as possible. I ordered the Peach boba tea. It tasted not bad but is definitely not worth the price. I also expected it to be a milk tea, but it tasted like a smoothie with boba? Others might say it's good, but I'm from Houston, TX which has lots of good boba tea cafes so I had a different expectation level. Lemme tell you about the possibly one of the only places in the entire state of North Dakota to sell the coveted bubble tea drink. I really wanted to like this place because I love bubble tea so much that there's no way you can possibly make the experience of buying a drink with the chewy balls and flavored tea that bad of an experience, but at Teaberry, it was very close. The menu was confusing for most of the people in line, which is why you had them crowded around the register, looking at a limited number of booklet menus, asking various questions, and therefore holding up the line like no other. An easy solution to this would be to have a menu above the counter, or have the mini menus easily available on a table for people to grab while they are in line, and not at the counter, where they should already know what to order. At that point, I was like, ITS OK. ITS OK BECAUSE THEY HAVE BUBBLE TEA. And as a native californian who hasnt had any of the asian liquid crack in a while, I wanted to believe it would all be OK. Upon getting to the register, I skipped the whole fruit-blend business because I saw that they were just using powders. Which, to me, is STILL OK. So I ordered the most basic of basic teas: a large thai iced tea with tapioca bubbles. I waited in anticipation, and when the nice lady finally handed me my drink, that was when I knew I wouldn't be ok. because. they practically gave me like 16oz of liquid with a cup of ice. It was like all ice. The tea was fine, the balls perfectly chewy, but I couldn't enjoy my Teaberry experience knowing that I spent around $4.75 for a LARGE CUP OF ICE with some tea. read more

Teaberry is a good alternative to a coffee shop. They have a variety of seating options with a couple that you pretty much crawl into and require you to take off your shoes. Last week, my family sat at a large square high top table and played a game of Trouble - as they have some games to choose from. From my experiences, I'm thinking this place is popular for the Under 21 crowd and the customers are young. It must serve as a nice downtown hangout that is not a bar or a coffee shop. I mostly go here for my kids as they like the boba teas. Expect to pay about $5 per tea. read more

On one of the first warm days of the season, Teaberry was the perfect stop for some after lunch refreshment. I was a bit confused at first about the booklet menus, but I got the hang of it once I started looking. There are drinks with powders, drinks with fresh fruit, drinks with coffee, and magic. The options for extra goodies include the classic tapioca pearls, flavored popping bubbles, and flavored jellies. I, of course, opted for the classic tapioca pearls. The woman at the counter explained it would be a 20 minute wait while they made the pearls fresh. I didn't mind, it was absolutely worth it. My husband and I sat at the counter near the register, which was a prime eavesdropping location (I'm shameless). While we waited for our drinks, between 15 and 20 people ordered drinks (on a hot day, this is obviously a popular stop). Notably, a gentleman was having difficulty with the menu and the woman behind the counter was patient and kind in explaining the different teas and extras. My taro tea with tapioca pearls was absolutely worth the wait. Delicious, creamy, and perfectly textured pearls. Great place, will definitely return. read more

Alright, people. Where can a person go to get a bubble tea in God's Country? Teaberry on Broadway. Downtown Fargo. Gossip of bubble tea worked its way to me as a kid, which is closer to a hundred years ago than it oughta be. I dismissed it cuz I didn't have the sophistication of palate the way I do, now. It takes time to learn. What can I say? Regardless, I gave bubble tea little thought until I was in a shopping mall in some town I can't remember and I stumbled on a bubble tea shop. I do remember my foray into bubble tea was with a passion fruit/mango concoction with guava "pop" boba. I wasn't 100% sold on the idea, but it was still pretty tasty. Fast forward a few years and a dozen bubble tea joints later, and I find I have a sentimental place in the ol' ticker for this odd Taiwanese treat. Lemme tell ya... Teaberry does a pretty respectable job with their bubble tea selections. Now, I do find there is room for improvement, but I'll still be a patron. Everyone has skeletons, right? First, most of the teas seem to be powdered teas. With the fruit flavors, that's OK, but after having a couple brewed chai teas in other shops, powdered chai doesn't cut it. Not for the investment. Speaking of investment, Teaberry is a little on the "steep" side. Many yuks to be had there, huh? Yeah. It'll sting the gold bag a bit, no lie. In perspective, however, it ain't settin' you back like a trip to DQ, so it's a solid choice. The price plus powdered tea pulled a point. I'm gambling on more "organic" selections as the business grows. Fingers crossed! Parking is also a bit more tricky near Broadway, but it just makes for a sweet stroll on a nice day. One of the things I do like about this joint is that kids have a crash pad on the weekends. I have been in there a number of times and I have seen congregations of high schoolers chat dumpin' at the tables. It's a tasteful and welcoming place for young men and women to kick off the shoes and run jibs for a while. If you go in to score some bubbles, keep in mind that the person behind the counter probably isn't the person who laid out an inheritance to get the place up and running. It's, more likely, a college student who is about to get a trench education in the inflated cost of a degree. Help 'em out with their books a bit, can ya? This person might be your ER doctor one day and it would be nice of there could be a little "good ol' times" deducted from your hospital bill, right? Let 'em know you got their back! If you actually know what bubble tea is, do NOT go here. The smoothies are flavorless, the staff are rude, and the bubbles are always stale. If you want real bubble tea, go to teas and crepes. The last times I went, my smoothie tasted like a watered down milkshake and when I told the staff, she told me I ordered wrong and they won't replace it because it's my fault. I understand being a small business and not wanting to cover others' mistakes but this is an issue that could've been handled without rudeness. Let me start of by saying Teaberry serves delicious boba tea! It's a cool, refreshing drink that anyone can customize to their tastes. The boba teas come in many different fruity flavors and are served with either tapioca pearls or assorted jellies. Basic boba, fresh fruit bobas, coffee drinks, hot tea, and even crepes are served at Teaberry. My issue with Teaberry lies in its physical space. It's chilly, bare, and unfinished in some areas - the very front of the store has been under construction since last summer. I'm willing to wait the 5 or so minutes for my drink to be blended, but the Asian-like decor mixed with house/rave music and tables and chairs that have been carved and vandalized like in a dive bar all throw me off. I think it's a misfire from "hip". I've managed to get around these issues by simply taking my drink to-go. Taking a sunny stroll through downtown Fargo with a friend is the best way to enjoy my Teaberry. On that note, another perk from Teaberry is that they offer punch cards for regulars. Give it a try, but it's not for everyone. read more

I have called this place 5 times and no one answered, even though they say they're open until 10 on there google website. How would i place a delivery if none answers the phone? And half the time there closed without putting a warning on there google website. I have at least drove down 5 times and they have been closed before said hours on website. I went in on 04/29/2020 at 8:40. There was one employee and a group of girls waiting for their drinks, so I was able to order at about 8:45. The card machine was having troubles so the employee manually entered my card info and was really friendly and patient the whole time. After I ordered, a bunch of people started coming in. Keep in mind there was only one employee at this time. He kept making drinks and taking orders with a smile on his face and a friendly attitude. He remained calm the whole time, and did a great job with handling the situation. My boba tea tasted amazing as usual, I just thought I should take the time to leave a review about how amazing the customer service is here! (And the tea of course!) Highly recommend! Like another reviewer of Teaberry, I'm also from California. And I do NOT like boba tea, or bubble tea, or whatever you want to call it. I do not like it AT ALL. But I LOVE Teaberry. The menu is NOT confusing. It's actually pretty straightforward. Fresh fruit, pick three, add in soy milk, almond milk, aloe juice...you can even have those weird tapioca balls if it makes you happy. I went to Teaberry on my first day in town and it quickly became my favorite place in Fargo. Every drink I've ever gotten has been consistently fresh and delicious, they're often crowded but the service is always fast, the staff is friendly, and the prices are totally reasonable. Teaberry might be the only place in this food desert that makes me miss California just a tiny bit less. read more

When you're driving downtown Fargo it can be a bit hard to see Teaberry at first and parking might be difficult to find but the smoothies and teas are really good! I usually get a strawberry/lavender smoothie with popping bobas! They're usually sweet but the workers are kind and helpful with picking out good flavors!
